Need Advice

My husband has filed for divorce, I wanted a christian separation with counseling. Finally I made him leave, he has an awful temper and anger problem. His daughter chose to stay with me, she's a serving christian also, he professes to be christian, however, he lies, has stolen property from his job, a LOT of property, he chews tobacco, he cusses a lot, he does't read the Word; this is judgmental, just the facts. would you call the authorities about all the stolen property? He thinks he's above the law.

Then, My question and advice to you, would be for you to contact your pastor........then maybe a mature, and godly, bible believing believer, whom can prove to be avenue of support for you............do whatever you can to stay safe.......and pray, pray, pray as if your life depended on it. God can show you what you should do, if you want Him to.

My heart and my prayers go out to you. What a horrid situation you describe!

Regarding reporting the stolen property: Are you willing to be drawn into the investigation by the police to the point of testifying against him in court? If he is charged with felony theft, it might come to that and you might have to face cross examination by a skilled defense attorney.

Sister i am really sorry about your situation.
The best advice that I can give to you is to just lay this problem in the
hands of the Lord, if you truly want to be with him pray that God can
heal the relationship between you two.

I am so sorry you are going through this sweetie...it has to be very difficult for the person you love to treat you like this. Lay these burdens at the feet of Jesus. Follow His leading. If He leads you to report the stolen property, do so. But always be led by the Spirit, not by your own desire.
