Need some Guidance

hi, as my title explains I need some guidence.
For around 3 years now, I have been reciving Words (profecies) and visions, for people around me. This to me is very exciting that God is using me as His vessel. I don't doubt what God shows me, because i have seen results, and what i give to people is accurate. Though, I am afriad that i might do something wrong in the way i approach.
In my situation, i don't have someone to ask advice about my gifts, as no one shares this with me at the same level. At times it can be full on, and im not always sure how to react, except to trust what God is doing. I know God is the altimate guider, but if anyone has the same gifts, I am interested how you approach using them and how you put them to practice. If there is someone that has some tips for me, i would deffinately appreciate your response or PM.
Thanx

Greetings Proverbs31girl,

May I ask how things are going for you. It is a while now since you posted this thread.

Sister, be not discouraged. Though we have gifts beyond all others, and have not love..... we are nothing. It is in Christ's love we can have boldness and share His gifts amongst men. Many have gone before you and the record is that there was usually a trembling to go with them, sometimes even reluctance to speak up and do His will.
Before we go further, let us consider our faith.
Is it not in faith we hear the Word... and believe?
It is therefore of great importance to you to consider your faith. In doing so, you will be encouraged and gain strength.
There are many adversaries to the Word, and our Lord told us very clearly to rejoice when they come against us.

You know the song... Come Boldly to the Throne of Grace...?
Well the Scripture certainly tells us this... so, when delivering any gift from God, in Jesus name, we receive it from the throne of grace, and as servants, deliver it to where it is required of us to so deliver. It is also a throne of grace that we must approach. The heart of a man is the desired and planned dwelling place of the King. Our service is to deliver the gifts to a heart, a place prepared before time for the throne room of grace. This is the servants task. It is the act of love that gives life to the receiver, remembering that without love, our gifts are worthless.
So we must come boldly.
We are not sent anywhere that the Lord has not prepared before us.
In this, we can gladly give Him all the glory. Remember, too, that pride can and will destroy all service that we are called to do, as well as us.
He, Jesus Christ, our great High Priest, is the author, the only place of refuge we have in this world, and it is Him who we trust.

May you have clarity in your call and determination in your service to glorify the Lord in your whole life, sister.

Bless you,

Br. Bear

Thankyou Br. Bear, for your help. You have lots of wisdom in Your words.
What you have said, is humbling to me. I feel encouraged to stand for God, as before i would tend to shy away. i still face inside battles between my own desires and what is God's will, but i feel confident through God i can overcome this.
Since i wrote this post, ive learned about the importance of devotions and being obedient to Gods' will. i do have a lot more to face up to, but i love that it''s all apart of the journey.
Thankyou again for your words, they were helpful and also thankyou for your honesty.

Dear sister,

thankyou for your kind words. However, it is not fitting that I be thanked in this. I am a mere servant of the Lord.
As much as my heart and mind would love to gloat and swell with self admiration, I can only say no to such folly. Jesus Christ is the Lord. To Him be all the glory.... forever...amen.

My sister, before I became a Christian, I was in darkness, in every sense of the word. I knew nothing of His Love, His redeeming Power, His Glory, His Truth, His Word. When, on that blessed day for me, I believed, I was filled with His Spirit, and He gave me utterance of which I never had. All that He has done for me, All that He has revealed to this sinner, has been from Him, and not even the slightest, tiniest, little bit of His truth has had its beginning through me.
He is the same today as He was yesterday, and will be tomorrow.
All that I am in Him, and all that is of any virtue or praise, is His doing....NOT mine.

So, thankyou for your kindness, I understand what you are saying, But let us go forth now as fellowsevants and give all glory and thanks to Him who must be praised...Jesus Christ the Lord.

Bless you,

Br. Bear
