I am so excited about my church's new mission! The Lord has lead us ino a senior ministry. It is so needed in our area. We are having a Senior Sunday in September with an extended coffee time including a talk from the Director of the local Office of the Aging, music from some of our senior members, information gathering to find out what their needs are, idea gathering to find out what they like to do (crafts, games, etc.). All this will lead up to a monthly Senior's Day at our fellowship hall. Some of our plans are to make caps for newborns and send them to Save the Children, blankets for hospital for families or mothers who do not have any resources, and pick table of canned goods, etc. for the seniors. Praise to God! Our Lord is so good!
