New User Tagging Feature

You can start tagging users in your posts in the same way you would on Twitter or Instagram.

Simply add the @ symbol before their username. Example: @Chad

Purpose of tagging:

It allows members to mention each other in posts when talking about them, directing a comment or response to them.

When you tag a user(s), they will be notified via email.

This is very cool, however, I do not have over a hundred posts and it counts the tagging as a link when I try to reply with a quote.

I had to remove the tag in your quote.
I tried a reply with the quote and got this:
[h=3]Errors[/h] [h=3]The following errors occurred with your submission[/h]

1. To be able to post links or images your post count must be 100 or greater. You currently have 20 posts.
   
   Please remove links from your message, then you will be able to submit your post.

I wonder if you can make a post, and use the tag feature without using the reply with quote tool?

It successfully sent me a message that you tagged me. It seems that it doesn't work only when you use the reply with quote button. I would suggest when making a post, using the quote tool inside the reply box on the parts you want to quote. Let us know if this also does not work. @Chad, is there anything that can be corrected about the link error or are those under 100 posts going to have to stick with making a post and tag without 'reply with quote'?
