As Angie expressed the identical feelings expressed by many who "want" to have faith, yet see so little of what that faith is all about in the "real world" even by those who profess to be Christian. It is enough to drive anyone away from seeking that truth we all so need and want. Angie, let me relate something to you most Christian’s fail to realize. God is not about religion, He is about Life. A life we haven’t even begun to live yet. We are still trying to survive, when the root of all faith’s believe there is "nothing" to survive from in that we are eternal creations of God and will exist forever.
Now here’s were "God’s Kingdom, Heaven and Hell" come into play. Nowhere does it define what any one of those three terms "means". Nowhere. You can associate the words "truth or consequences" to Heaven (truth); and Hell (Consequences) would be, I think, more appropriate. God’s Kingdom is the "whole ball of wax" everything. Call it the Universe, of which we are all a part. Whether He "created" it, or "is" it, is a matter I don’t think we will every figure out. It doesn’t matter anyway. But before any of this will make any sense to you at all, you must believe in your own "immortality". That is so very important. You must put yourself in "that future" or you will care little about it. [/SIZE]
Angie, the reason you don’t see the "truth" in the world is because we have deemed our existence "terminal". It’s a sad day for us all when he "body" kick’s the bucket. Actually, the body doesn’t die, we kill it. Ha. But you, my dear, continue on. Your not finished yet. Not by a long shot, as a matter of a fact you will never be "finished". Now let’s talk about this "Heaven and Hell" thing a bit
As was mentioned to you, a good Christian is one who aspires to be "Christ like". That is the truth. This means we are "all" a part of God, just as Christ was, we just have a hard time believing that considering the miserable state the world is in. Hard to imagine. So it was reasonable for us to assume "Heaven" to be a "remote" place when it actuality it is beneath your feet. You see Angie, life begins when we start "creating" that Heaven in which we are to live. That’s what we were created for. We are God’s sense’s. We are His hand’s and under His guidance, we will build it "together". But first we had to get a little taste of what "hell" is all about and you my dear are in it as are we all. Oh, it’s not as bad as it could be, but that is what the rapture is all about. You see Angie, the Earth is not for sale. Never was, and those who think they own it are those who choose to rule and they will get their wish. Only I don’t think they will like that realm they create. Don’t worry, you won’t be a part of it.
The rapture of the mind is that moment when you recognize your "oneness" with the Universe or God. It will blow you away, buckle your knees and make you bawl like a baby. Trust me, I know. Been there, done that and it happened 30 years ago.
God, through Christ, knew what the overwhelming sensation of "life" would do. We would "covet" it. And we do, big time. We just will do anything "not" to give it up and that is our problem and Christ, through God knew that as he said "...forgive them for they know not what they do" as Christ, himself, was a threat to that greed we have for life itself as we desperately try to hold on to that that never ends. We like "to be". "Not to be" doesn’t fit to well with us. Rest assured, nothing in the Universe "goes away", not even us.
A true Christian will not "preach" to you. He or she will "love" you as Christ loved us and through that love, you will heal yourself of that "bitterness" the world has imposed on you. One day you will arrive at that piece of mind, for that is where God dwells and he will make your acquaintance. You will like that day in your life. You are a "divine" creature "of God", and not "apart from God" and then you will understand what true love is all about. You will begin to put "self" aside and hear the pleas of others and you will know what to do, just as Christ did. Just remember, ‘GOD is you, but you are not God. That may take a little while for your to grasp, but it will come.
May God be with you. This is not a prayer, it is the way life is meant to be.
