Once many years ago , God told me He was going to give me a home! He told me to put a ad in the paper saying i wanted a free home! So i did ! after about a week the ad ran out ! I thought odd no one called ! So i was riding down the road with my wife and she saw this new big trailer for sale! and said She wanted it 1 We stopped and looked at it ! So i put a down payment on it ! and went to a place i knew of where they sold land in a park and bought a big lot ! We moved in the trailer ! this was about a month after we moved in a man called on the phone and said He had a nice home He wanted to give me ! I told Him i already have a place ! Well a old girl friend and Her husband moved in accross the street ! It appears She and my wife got to talking and I did not know it ! But i came home from work one night and My wife said we must move out right now ? I said why ? She said they are coming to get the trailer ! I said They cannot do that ! She said they are on the way now ! I drove too the police station and asked the officer about it ! He was just a young policeman , Sure now He knew nothing ! But He said yes they can pick it up ! Well i went and rested a house and moved out that night ! No one picked up the trailer , my wife had lied ! whatever that lady said must have made her afraid of losing me ! I was young and dumb too ! Had i just obeyed and listened and waited on the LORd ! Life would have been much better i am sure! My point is Always obey the LORD and wait on Him ! He does not need our help ! We can mess things up by Not waiting ! Like when we pray ? We should Wait for Him to answer ! listen that Not the only mistake i have made ! kind of was ashamed to tell that one ! God bless All who really LOVE OUR LORD ! He LOVES US more than we love ourselves!

Thank you for sharing. I've had my share of learning the hard way because of listening to others. At the end of the day even though the people around had good intentions I ignored God. The door on that opportunity closed, but God has prepare another door for me to open. The road is a lot harder, but it's the bed I made and I will trust God to lead me. Not sure when he will give me the key, but to be honest I'm not bothered by how long it will take, just grateful He is by my side.

let me say no need to be ashamed ..For there is no more condemnation in Christ ...many a blessing has been reset at the point of obedience praise God for second chances...Rev
