Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD......Psalm 135:1
I posted some of this as a response to a question in the prayer thread 'Please pray for my little girl', that asked Does God answer prayers, does God care? And thought I would also post it here as a praise report, adding and altering just a little
So does God answer prayer....and without a shadow of doubt the answer is.... Yes Yes Yes......God answers prayers and He cares so deeply, compassionately and beautifully.
Prayers for my desparately sick beloved daughter have been answered against all human expectation..... with God all things are possible...Mark 10:27
He brings hope where there seems to be no hope.
He brings life when death seems a certainty
He brings joy that replaces all sorrow
He is an amazing God
And through all the dark days He has continually whispered His love and perfect peace to our souls. And as a family we have been drawn into the unfathomable depths of His love..... His strength is truly made perfect in weakness. We have learned to really count our blessings...the things that are often taken for granted......and praise Him for His goodness
And O how wondrously true the verse.......The joy of the Lord is your strength Neh 8:10........Dear reader, in His presence there is indeed fullness of joy.....and in keeping our eyes fixed on Him, we find that earths pains and anxietes recede. The more fixed we become on Him the more lovely He becomes to our hearts....He is all sufficient and He is All in and in all.
O Jesus thank You
