Ok, here an idea, Why dont we learn and then not debate

For once in my life If I could only have joy here!

People, You know why I say this? I tell you why; It is because I get the nerves coming here to whatever time I go to a thread where there is a debate going on but instead not learning anything but seeing people with there ego and anger because I believed I could kind of feel in my spirit… So we need to solve and fix this problem and pray that God give us a wisdom to try make this forum a better place to stay and in fact I find that TalkJesus is a such a nice place, but by some division that takes place is a bit abusive to me. Its time for no more GAMES y’all, I am sorry to say it..:secret:

So if this activity of debate continuing, its not my place to stay to waste my time in stress, so it looks like that I may not always come back here that often as it is now so if the debating continue to go on active that means I need to rest away from this forum. I come to learn and grow in Gods word not a bunch of garbage’s of debating and confusion.

Wasn't it Bill Cosby who said that there are two sure ways to create confusion in your life - One is to take NOBODY'S advice and the other is to take EVERYBODY'S ADVICE.

Stylz, you brought some confusion upon yourself when you got into studying Calvinism versus Arminianism. You were in over your head. Shoot, I've been a born again, Bible lioving believer for nearly twenty-four years and it was difficult for me to understand.

I would advise you, as Willb did when you first posted about that topic, that the best thing for you to do as a young Christian is to focus on learning about Jesus. Let the theologians worry about things like Calvinism vs Arminianism. Our job is to spread the word about Jesus.

P.S. I think that, while there have been sharp differences of opinion on this site in recent weeks, everyone has been pretty polite, pretty Christ-like in the way they posted their thoughts.

I totally agree with brother SLE.

The forum rules are self explanatory. It's a tough job being a moderator on this site as so many people tend to have "opinions" rather than Biblical beliefs.

So Stylez, don't take it personally, but I agree with brother SLE, it's time that you learn more about Jesus and what He tought and forget about man. Man is in the world, man is in the universe, God is God, He is a Person and quite frankly, we need to understand that and actually live that way.

Let's forget about trivial stuff and start focussing on God.

Stylez i have been reading most of the debates here and i have not read anything that takes them accross the line. I think it is good for people to say what they believe and explain why and hear others thoughts as long as it doesnt become heated or ungodly.

I may be wrong but i havent seen this here.

Yes there is debates but not the kind we see else where. I dont think there is a bad spirit within this site, i would say its a open site and people are willing to put their views accross - in the proper way knowing crossing the line will draw swift action.

I also forgot to suggest that sometimes taking a break is nice. Maybe take a week or two off from the forum and then come back with a fresh mind. It usual works for me.

Mouse you make a good point, sometimes if you feel all you do is argue then it can be emotionally draining and frustrating. I know that when i feel that on a site i take a break then go back later on.
