Ok,Well, the reason why I am asking this question because I have to preach a word at my church like maybe this Sunday or next Sunday and it will be my first time and I chose a topic call “Don’t believed In Falsely Errors” and I am worry about messing up on preaching because I want to preach it good and to teach people to help them to what I been through and help them to win the victory because giving more meat is a blessing and it is helping me to study and I just started studying it and it can relate to my case and there’s. And I know the Lord show me this Scripture in Isaiah 32:4-8 and I thought it can relate to my topic and that I may preach and I am planning adding other scripture to support my preaching to relate to it so is there any advise because I am a little nerves about this and I don’t want to look bad front of anybody and I am the youngest in my minister class and most of the students are like 19 to 30 or maybe in there mid 30s to there age and I am 17 years old and I guest is cool to be the youngest in my minister class but can y’all help me and give me a good advise because I do have a calling to be an Evangelist..

Stay in your depth...

Hi there,

First thing I would say is be careful not to wonder out of your depth. Stay within your faith/comfort range. Only preach things you know by way of revelation, not things you think. And you should be alright.
If you are feeling nervous look for a few friendly faces and preach towards them.

Don't be afraid of making mistakes, everyone does from time to time even great preachers.

Just try to relax and enjoy the experience. A lot of people, particularly veteran preachers will be just thrilled to bits just seeing you up the front having a go.

And if you've stayed within your faith range and only shared revelation, what you say will be
anointed by the Holy Spirit, and everyone will have a great time.

If you are going to preach on those verses in Isaiah 32 :4-6 you might find some corroborating scriptures in Proverbs. But don't preach it if it's out of your depth.

Blessings,
Tonyb

Stay very simply in your core thought. And then simply use scripture to illustrate this thought. Far better to take one basic truth and let the scripture illustrate this truth than to have complicated thought.

Depend upon God and do not think about yourself too much. Ask Him to reveal himself and his word to the people.

Be logical and let point lead to point.

Your people are ready to receive. May you be blessed as you seek the LORD.

Pray.......lots of prayer.

Thanks for the tip also, God bless

still keep me in prayers

Amen brother, we will do that.

Please note the excellent advice that you have been given. Prepare......prepare......prepare, would be my advice for a young man like yourself.

Some qoute the scripture "Open thy mouth and I will fill it" God answers at times with a filling of fresh air. Prepare dear brother. Have it all worked out.

And be a blessing......this is most important. Paramount in fact

Just two thoughts:

1) There's nothing wrong with a short sermon, especially when it's your first one.

2) In times of trial (such as your first sermon), you need to depend on the Holy Spirit to guide you with what to say (see Lk 12:11-12)

Prayer.

Prayer: Father God, I give you praise and thanks
for what you have done in our brothers life,
I pray that you will draw out of him the good
things you have put with in as he moves out
in you this day.

Father God, you kingdom come, your will be
done in our brothers life as it is in heaven this
day in Jesus name Amen!

That first time is always a learning time. May your opportunities continue. And remember your audience. They are VERY important. If they are not listening then there is no reason to preach. So do not scare them away with "too Much". Better to have a point. Make it. Then leave it! Then they will remember what you are trying to say.....

Well If there going to fall asleep, well then I'll preach Hard on the mic, HAHAHAHAHAHA:shade:

Dude, I read your message and was heaps impressed by your honesty. You really do care about doin the right thing for God and your church. I can understand your nervousness, its pretty interesting your first time at pulic speaking, however, you said it yourself, you believe that you have a calling of an Evangalist on your life, and I am inclined to agree with you. Dont worry about your youth, take the practical advise given by the other guys who are kind enough to leave you a message, but remember Timothy in the scriptures, Paul said to him , not to worry about being young. 1Timothy 4:12, and neither shoud you. The Lord will honour you, He will honour the calling He has placed on your life, trust Him, He knows how important things are to you, He will be there. It is incredible and a testimony to your relationship with the Lord to be asked to preach and teach. Truly you are a blessed young man. Stay cool, stay focused on the Lord, do your best and the Holy Spirit will take care of the rest. You will be terrific at what the Lord has called you to do. With love, blessings and encouragement, Bonnie
