Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalm 30:5
A dear brother here at Talk Jesus is suffering at the moment.
And as he entered my thoughts and prayers a beautiful old hymn came to mind.
This world is not our eternal home, it is not our resting place
The Lord who loves each of His children so dearly.....has a home prepared for us....where there will be no sorrow.....only joy and praise
May the words be a blessing all, especially to those who are suffering at the moment
Only a little while
Of walking with weary feet,
Patiently over the thorny way
That leads to the golden street.
Suffer if God shall will,
And work for Him while we may,
From Calvary’s cross to Zion’s crown,
Is only a little way.
Only a little while,
For toiling a few short days,
And then comes the rest, the quiet rest,
Eternity’s endless praise.
