Lately all that everyone has been talking about are the changes in the legality of gay marriage. But what about the shaming of public prayer? The harassment of those who do not support gay marriage? Since when did it become not okay to be against gay marriage? Somebody give me some answers because I can't decide whether its wrong or right, I want people to be happy but if the Lord says that marriage should be between one man and one woman then that should be what it is. Right? HELP

Any helpful scripture for clarity?

Your exactly right. We have no control with how people abuse sin. But we do here. It is the willful and blatant unrepentantiveness of the professing gay that is. Not only is homosexuality a sin, for those who are truly unrepentant ( not struggling), they also commit the unpardonable sin. There is no way that a homosexual can be a Christian, with Christ living in them, and be unrepentant, and they are therefore non-believers as well!
God is clear about how thinks about homosexuality. You are no more a bigot for standing up for what is right than God is.
Be against gays, be against abortion; love God and stand up for his word and you will never go wrong!

Sadly @Emmaly
This may be hard to take, but the world has no love you or any of us who call Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, much less believe the truth found in the Holy Bible.

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. John 15:18-22

It's come down to the fact that the world is not getting better, but worse. They'll try to tell you that is better and only those crazy Christians are the ones causing the trouble. Then they'll point to the other Christians who don't have a problem with it. They'll even marry them. The sad part is that these supposed believers are even worse for they've known the truth, but have turned away from it. They take out of scripture what they want, to satisfy themselves. Being obedient to God is not in their vocabulary. Instead it's telling people what they want to hear.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3

Yet the Lord is coming back. Sadly, many of these very same people will never see it coming. They'll not be prepared!

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5:2

You're not alone. May seem that way at times, but this that is happening in the world is not what we as believers are looking forward to. So stay strong with what you believe in and know to be true!

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Hebrews 3:6

Here's a promise you can hold on to Emmaly!

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9

When it becomes too much with what is going on. Read His word. Remind yourself of the above verse. Know that you have other Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus who feel the same way, but are putting their hope not in the world, but in God who tells the truth, and keeps His promises!

I pray and hope that this helps you a little!

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
God sees us all as one so we are closer than married people already.
Until we all believe God that we are one the same way God sees us as one then
all sorts of crazy things will happen to get us fighting to make God look wrong.
Darkness wants us separate and God wants us all to be one.
That's why if we don't forgive we can't be forgiven.

Hello Emmaly.

Within the church, any form of sexual immorality is forbidden, including homosexuality.

1 Thessalonians 4
3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality.

For those outside the church, God will judge them for their perversions.

1 Corinthians 5
12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church?
13 But those who are outside, God judges.

In the secular world, whether gays should be allowed to get married, is not really any of my business.
Although I would vote against it in a referendum on the civil union of gays.

Once again, in the church, the practice of homosexuality is strictly forbidden.

Church and state are always separate entities.

Thank you all for your inputs, I appreciate them greatly :)

Emmaly, homosexuality is a sin, listed among a whole bunch of other sins (see Ro. 1:18-32; 1 Co. 6:9; 1 Tim. 1:10). What God calls sin we must also call sin, but we must love the sinner, yet not as the world loves, but as God loves us and gave himself up for us all to redeem us from slavery to sin. And, yes, we will be hated for our stand for the word of God, and for what the Bible teaches on the subject of sin. And, it is getting much, much worse here in America. Those of us who stand on the Word of God and who teach about sin, repentance, walking in the Spirit and obedience to Christ, are now called bigoted, hatemongers, extremists, disunifiers, out-of-touch with reality, and crazy, etc., and we are being targeted for extinction, dismissal and/or removal because we don't tolerate sin, and we do preach about a coming judgment. There is a plan in motion within our government and within an alliance of civilizations to rid the world of us "extremists," so be prepared to be persecuted, but stand strong in your faith, for you will be richly rewarded by God.

Perhaps sooner than any of us would have once expected this persecution is being ushered in... People supported by government officials are smoothing the road to make it easier to sin (at least they are acting that way even perhaps some who do not really know what they are doing). There is a time to speak and a time to remain silent according to scripture. Jesus always knew the difference. We must get to that same place in order to make it with Him to the end of our course:

"Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also." John 15:20

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:" Ecc 3:1

"... a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;" Ecc 3:7

"When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God," Acts 7:54-55

"And they stoned Stephen...

"And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep." Acts 7:59-60

Hi Emmaly, Thanks for posting. I wanted to chime in with all this very good counsel. Loving a sinner means, (regardless of the sin), being honest and correcting in love and out of it. Meaning, if we were friends - (not virtual ones, but say you came to my house) and asked what I thought about you doing something immoral, something that Scipture said was not good, and I could tell you really wanted to do it - it's not loving of me to try to keep you as a friend and just condone whatever you want to do. (see Ezekiel 3, especially verse 18 "when I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out from his wicked way so he may live, that wicked man will die in his inquity, but his blood I will require at your hands")

I am of the opinion that sexual sin - that which we do with our bodies, the temple He wants to dwell in is graver than other sins. It can enslave. I know gay couples and I believe they genuinely love and care about each other, but it is not the the Lord's call on their lives and prevents them from being able to fully be who they are in freedom. What is particularly distrubing is the life expectancy for men, I think is early 40s. We are not made to be with the same sex, and it's not just in the New Testament, it's a law-breaking thing from Leviticus, chapters 18 and 20. Jesus came to save us, and when He lived on earth, he lived a perfect life and obeyed all of what was in Leviticus. I believe his interaction with a gay person would be similar to that of the woman at the well and I conduct myself like that. I don't confront my gay friends, but I have had a few conversations when they brought it up. Those conversations have changed over the years.

The bottom line: Scripture the final authority on what I believe to be right. I started out not liking it but saying - Scripture says this so it must be true but I don't like it. So I was in the lesser place before the Lord enlarged my heart. I did it so I wouldn't be guilty of hiding truth when I am brought to account.

Now, I'm at a place where I love even Leviticus because I see that the more I am able to live like Jesus did, the fuller my life is. And that means peace, joy and love, AND affliction, rejection, and sorrow but more of life all around. I want that for my gay friends, not because I am worried about not warning them but because now I can see it's part of what it means to love someone. Grace has changed my heart to want for them the fullness of life He's given me out of taking Scripture to heart. Sometimes all I can do is pray for it for them but that's no little thing.

Hi @Emmaly

This is the end times we live in and the below Scripture pretty much summarizes it up in a brief but detailed-enough description of what we'll witness.

Romans 1:18-32
God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Hi Emmaly,
Romans is incredible for showing our need for our Savior, isnt it? My pastor preached on this very recently as a reference, saying this passage illustrates a progression of the downward spiral of sin. Paul witnessed this happen and it is true at all times after the Fall and sadly, as Chad points out, it will continue to happen. And, in the very next line, Chapter 2 states, "so no matter who you are, if you pass judgement, you have no excuse.". All without Christ are just as depraved as what is described above, and all of us, at some point in our lives, didn't have Him. If we now know all this by grace, then we can't possibly keep it to ourselves or distort this pure, holy, life giving gift by denying the truths in the Word.

Chapter 2 states, "so no matter who you are, if you pass judgement, you have no excuse.
Thanks for pointing that out.
No matter how bad things seem to get our judgement must always be that God is in absolute undeniable control of the universe
and his plan of salvation is proceeding on course and will not be delayed by any dark thing.
If we believe things are bad and getting worse then how does the scripture "all things work together for good to those who love God and walk according to his purpose".
What is his purpose?
Heres one=Romans 11:32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

It's all about mercy,God's mercy not Man's
God's judgement sent a son to seek and save that which was lost.
John 5:22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,
The father gave the all judgement to the son.

What does the son's judgement look like?
John 8:15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.

We don't wait until a baby is clean to bathe them, that's not going to happen.
We drain bath water and keep babies, not the other way around.
We pray for those in error washing them with the water of the word.
Then when they are clean we drain the bath water.

Many Christians when confronted with homosexuality, lesbianism, gay marriage refer to Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13

The gay people, with some knowledge of scripture will immediately shoot this down, as Leviticus is a Book of Law and as Paul states we are Set Free from the Law. Gal 3:13 & 18

Matthew 5:17 Jesus states "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfil.

John 1:17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Their latest quotes to make what they do acceptable to their debased minds, they refer to the following...

Luke 17:34-36 (NKJV)
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.
35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left.
36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left."

Some of the many warnings are including below, what I never see gay people quote from the list of items written is 'and the like'

Romans 1:26-32
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality,
wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Galatians 5:18-26
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

In the New Testament, "fornication" comes from the Greek word porneia, which includes adultery and incest.Porneia comes from another Greek word that also includes indulging in any kind of unlawful lust, which would include homosexuality. The use of the word in the gospels and the epistles is always in reference to sexual sin, whereas "fornication" in the book of Revelation always refers to idolatry. The Lord Jesus condemns two of the churches of Asia Minor for dabbling in the fornication of idolatry

(Revelation 2:14,20),
and He also refers to the “great harlot” of the end times, which is the idolatrous false religion “with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication”
(Revelation 17:1-2).
Adultery, on the other hand, always refers to the sexual sin of married people with someone other than their spouse, and the word is used in the Old Testament both literally and figuratively. The Hebrew word translated “adultery” means literally “breaking wedlock.”

Gay people do not consider themselves as committing adultery, they do not consider themselves as committing any sexual sin!

Please include all comments and scripture references so that together we may be stronger in the Word, guided by Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Here are a few Scriptures to encourage Christians to not be supersessionists and receive the full power of the gospel as per Jesus Christ, witnessed to here by the author of the gospel of Matthew, and of Paul and John and in unity with the Holy Spirit, Who inspires all Scripture. Leviticus stands as fulfilled by the obedient life of Jesus Christ, sustained in the gospel of Jesus Christ and points forward to His kingship. We do well as a witness to our Messiah to acknowledge this.

Matthew 5:17-20 "Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets, I have come not to abolish but to complete. Yes indeed, I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away not so much as a yud, [hebrew letter for y, the smallest letter in the alephbet], or a stroke will pass from the Torah - not until everything that must happen has happened. So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot [commandments] and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness is greater than that of the Torah teachers and P'rushin [Pharisees], you certainly will not enter the kingdom of heaven."

Romans 11:18-23 "then don't boast as if you were better than the branches! However, if you do boast, remember that you are not supporting the root, but the root is supporting you. So you will say, 'Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in. True, but so what? They were broken off because of their lack of trust. So don't be arrogant, on the contrary, be terrified. For if G-d did not spare the natural braches, he certainly won't spare you. So take a good look at G-ds kindness and his severity: on the one hand, severity toward those who fell off; but, on the other hand, G-ds kindness toward you- provided you maintain yourself in that kindness! Otherwise, you too will be cut off!

1 John 2:7. "Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command. On the contrary, it is an old command, which you have had from the beginning; the old command is the message you have heard before." JNT, Stern

Hi! 'Emmaly'

While it's true that I find the shameless activities of these earth-centered people to be inwardly distressing, they are not in any way disarming or discouraging. Their societal pursuit to legalize gay marriage doesn't infringe on my Christian experience in any manner. I'm not distracted in the least by those who insist to stubbornly deny the opportunity to experience a life after the Second Adam. Neither am I threatened by iniquitous laws which contain the signature and spirit of the anti-Christ.
I have utmost confidence in my triumphant New Life! The law of the Spirit of Life elevates me above all the nefarious designs of the earthly first Adam. "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death", (Rom 8:2). After all, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me", (Gal 2:20),
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things", (Phil 4:8).

The cultural, economic and political systems of the earth remain in harsh opposition to the Spirit of Life which dwells, (is emerging), from within us. Rather than focusing on that which we are supposedly "against", it's far better to focus on what we are ABOVE.
It's not for nothing that we are admonished to, "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth", (Col 3:2). Rather than confessing what is miserably poisoning the earth and it';s earth-centered inhabitants, we should be eagerly confessing that we are elevated above the suffocating nausea and immune from it's spirit killing devices. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him in love", (Eph 1:3-4).
---
"Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh", (Gen 2:24); "And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh", (Mark 10:8).
The animals are incapable of expressing a unity like this because the female has not been taken from the male. Therefore, animals are unable to commit adultery; whereas a monogamous marriage is intended to belong to man, (for this is the way it was from the beginning.. (Mark 10:6). This is also why Malachi 2:15, (in some translations), says that no man who has sufficient spirit will be unfaithful to the wife of his youth.
Additionally, God does not seek fellowship with angels, nor with the spirit of life in an animal which is only united with the earth. He only yearns jealously for the spirit which He made to dwell in us, (James 4:5). The only true God seeks fellowship only with the one human spirit which came from Him, which is His 'component', and which is fully focused on Him in the re-creation. [Not surprisingly, polytheism is usually accompanied by polygamy].
God does not seek fellowship with angels, nor with the spirit of life in an animal which is only united with the earth. He only yearns jealously for the spirit which He made to dwell in us. (James 4:5). It should not astonish us that polytheism (the worship of many gods) is usually accompanied by polygamy (having many wives). The only true God seeks fellowship only with the one human spirit which came from Him, which is His 'component', and which is fully focused on Him in the re-creation.
Similar to water baptism, marriage occurs/originates first and foremost in the heavenly (invisible) realm/ While the 'shadow', (outward sign), is witnessed simultaneously upon the earth, the integrity of the "two become one" is primarily a spiritual event.
As Eve was taken from Adam and led an independent and separate life, yet returned to him because her desire was for him, to be one flesh with him, so the human spirit was taken from God and also leads an independent, separate life with the earnest intention of the Creator that man's spirit should return to Him to be united with Him. The Psalmist said that his soul was thirsting for God. Thus it is fulfilled: "He who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him", (1Cor 6:17).
When God created man according to His image as 'husband and wife' who shall be one flesh, God expressed with this shadow image that He wished a suitable 'partner' who would be one spirit with Him. The opposing anti-Christ image is the '*****' who is seated at the front of many 'waters' and who is relating to the 'beast from the abyss', (1Cor 6:16,17; Rev 17).
The Bible speaks about God and man as a twosome. The institution of a marriage between man and woman as recorded in Genesis underlines this truth. This marriage is sacred because it is an image of the unification of God and man. In this perfect 'marriage' the 'fruit of God' is born out of the 'seed of God' (God is the 'Man', the 'seed' is His Word). This fruit produces the believing person, the child of God.

Nobody wakes up one morning and finds themselves a homosexual. This only comes about by refusing to listen to our own conscience that it is wrong. Every human being born on this planet earth all the know the difference between right, and wrong. We inherited this ability from Adam, and Eve after they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The world is in great pain, and is looking for anything to take this pain away, but the only thing that can is the Blood of Jesus Christ. Without the shedding of Blood there is no "remission" of sin. Sin always brings condemnation, and guilt which is torment. Adam, and Eve used fig leaves, and hid from the presence of God to try to get rid of their guilt, and shame to no avail. The world in a similar fashion is using, "lasciviousness" to try to get out from under their pain.

Eph 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
Eph 4:19 Who BEING PAST FEELING have given themselves over UNTO LASCIVIOUSNESS, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

The words, “ BEING PAST FEELING” in the KJV Bible comes from the Greek word, “apalgéō;” which is were we get our English word, “"ANALGESIC". A analgesic is a drug we use today, and it's use is for “TAKING AWAY PAIN”

This world is using, “ LASCIVIOUSNESS,” as a pain reliever hoping it will cause their pain to subside.

Eph 4:19 Who BEING PAST FEELING have given themselves over UNTO LASCIVIOUSNESS.....

The word, “ LASCIVIOUSNESS” means:

licentious, brutal. Lasciviousness, license, debauchery, sexual excess, absence of restraint, insatiable desire for pleasure.

All the people of the earth are looking for something to help them in their spiritual death to get rid of this nagging pain, and condemnation, which has brought “torment” unto themselves.
The only thing that can help them is the “shed” blood of Jesus Christ that can cleanse them from spiritual death, and give them the true light of life, so that they can be free, and no longer walk in spiritual death where they can be at peace within themselves .

What they need is what they refuse to believe.

I don't think anyone should be harassed unless they're doing something that hurts others and then to try to stop them. People just have different beliefs and those will always clash on sensitive issues for those beliefs like the subject of gay marriage.

Lately all that everyone has been talking about are the changes in the legality of gay marriage. But what about the shaming of public prayer? The harassment of those who do not support gay marriage? Since when did it become not okay to be against gay marriage?
2Timothy 3: 1-5 KJV
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Timothy 3: 13-17 KJV
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

We truly live in the last days - now more than ever preaching salvation shall be challenged and despised.
The advice Jesus gave to his disciples and followers in his own time is now become just as applicable today for us...
Luke 21:17-19 KJV
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
ERV 19 You will save yourselves by continuing strong in your faith through all these things.

Malachi 4: 1-3 KJV
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Right? HELP

Any helpful scripture for clarity?

specifically..

"Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them."

In the volatile world of a politically correct society, be careful of that which you give your approval.
