Our God Is Gracious and Forgiving

God forgives us if we but ask Him;
Our forgiveness of others should
be to everyone without limits...

If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins,
O Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness;
therefore you are feared.
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
My soul waits for the Lord more than
watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.

Psalm 130:3-6 NIV

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 5:43-48 KJV

Then Peter came and said to Him, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

My Refuge & Fortress Ps 91:1-7 MSG

You who sit down in the High God's presence,
spend the night in Shaddai's shadow,

Say this: "God, you're my refuge.
I trust in you and I'm safe!"
That's right - he rescues you from hidden traps,
shields you from deadly hazards.

His huge outstretched arms protect you -
under them you're perfectly safe;
his arms fend off all harm.

Fear nothing - not wild wolves in the night,
not flying arrows in the day,
Not disease that prowls through the darkness,
not disaster that erupts at high noon.
Even though others succumb all around,
drop like flies right and left,
no harm will even graze you.

You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,
watch the wicked turn into corpses.
Yes, because God's your refuge,
the High God your very own home,
Evil can't get close to you,
harm can't get through the door.

Psalm 91:1-7 The Message

Thank you

Thank you Lord for the greatest gift in the world.

I praise you for your righteousness.

I, who was unworthy, am made worthy in your eyes.

You keep me safe, and I trust in you.
