Our Helper in Troubles
Therefore let everyone who is godly
pray to you while you may be found;
surely when the mighty waters rise,
they will not reach him.
You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs
of deliverance.
Psalm 32:6,7 NIV

therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:
For He maketh sore, and bindeth up:
He woundeth, and His hands make whole.
He shall deliver thee in six troubles:
yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
In famine He shall redeem thee from death:
and in war from the power of the sword.
Job 5:17-20 KJV

Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.
I have been young and now I am old,
Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken
or his descendants begging bread.
All day long he is gracious and lends,
And his descendants are a blessing.
Depart from evil and do good, so you will abide forever.

Meditation 3/18-3/24: Col 2:6-12 ESV
Live in Christ!
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits[a] of the world, and not according to Christ. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 10and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. 11In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Colossians 2:6-12 ESV
