I don't understand why there are those of us that want to put limits on God.
They say he does this only and he does that only or he is this only and he is that only. The sad irony to this is that it is only a very limited use of scripture that they use to automatically support their stance and, then, completely ignore other scripture that is the total opposite of what the say. Another ploy for vindication is to discredit scripture but say that they are being taught directly from the Holy Spirit instead.
They will say who God is and isn't but can no more explain how the ressurection works or how Mary concieved or, any of God's other miracles.
The last I understood was that God is Omnipotent and Omniscient, that pretty much leaves me out of saying what he can do and who he is! If John The Baptist said he wasn't worthy of tieing Jesus scandals, then who am I?
All that is left for me is the Bible and the faith that God has given me.
John 1:1
Matthew 1:23
Isaiah 9:6
2 Peter 1:1
John 8:24
John 14:9-11
Titus 2:13
Read the above scriptures for yourself and for me they pretty much convince me that Jesus is God.
Now look at these:
1 Corinthians 2:10-11 ( is the holy spirit of God not God)
Psalm 139:7-8 ( this says that the Holy Spirit is omniscient, who but God is omniscient)
For me I am not saying who God is and who he isn't, the scriptures tell me that Jesus is God, The Holy Spirit is God and the Holy Spirit is Jesus. And, I can not explain that any better that the "Man in the Moon"...but God can!
