Pakistan

Could we please unite in prayer for Pakistan. I have just heard that Benazir Bhuto has been assasinated, and she was the most moderate leader that country has had. It now seems that the political situation there is dire. Could we pray for peace, stability, and especially for our brothers and sisters in that country who were already under harsh persecution which could get worse in the current political climate.

I think as Christians we need to know about international events, so we will know how to prayer.

I was saddened to hear of the death of this lady..........The planet/ world has become such a place of violence. We begin to be aware more, and more each day, that without Jesus, mankind are lost.......lost without hope and without God.


Lord Jesus help us to be more like you.....in ministry, in healing, and all such as represents your kingdom

Lord, I lift up Pakistan to you right now Father. I pray that your perfect will would be done in the place, whatever it may be. Lord, guide the political leaders in that nation, that things would improve there, not get worse than they already are.

Lord, I also pray for our fellow brothers and sisters over there, as they are under persecution. Lord, be their strength always, and help them to stand strong for You and glorify Your Holy Name in all they do, and no matter how hard things get. Lord protect them from the enemy as they may be walking throught the valley of the shadow of death. Lord, give them the strength to give their very lives for You if it comes to that, to stand firm until the very end, just as You did Jesus.

And Lord for the unsaved in that nation, let them see Your mighty hand working miracles in that place, that they too may be led to the cross and be truly repentent, all to Your glory Father. Lord works wonders in hearts and minds of the people in that nation, Father. Let many be drawn to You that they too may share in the joy and peace of the Lord!

Lord I pray all these things in the holy name of Jesus Christ,
