So, who has put on weight?
I have gained 20 pounds, comfort eating and less active. I am now dieting and getting out walking.

Hi there, @Christina2000,

Good for you! I hope you will remain focused and achieve your object, for you will feel so much better physically and psychologically. I have also gained weight, and need to seriously start eating healthily again and be kind to my heart. :)

With love in Christ Jesus
Chris

My main excuse is I did a lot of baking! It is relaxing and delicious. Of course I have stopped now, time to get strict with myself.

My excuse is that my mobility has become limited because of arthritic hips and resulting lower back pain, but I also know that I have resisted the help and advice of those who were willing to help me to exercise, because of the pain it engendered, and the panic attacks created. Yet I know that God is able to do immeasurably more than we can ever ask or think, and I know He will help me. So I am watching this space.

Thank you, Christina2000.

I totally understand. I had terrible back pain a while ago. I couldn't exercise. Even eating normally made me put on weight as I was not active. But food is a comfort, I couldn't give up what little enjoyment was left in life.
I hope your pain is relieved, don't push yourself, just be kind to yourself.

I was raised to eat in a flash so I could get right back outside to work. Also in school I would eat like that so I could make lunch recess longer. I've been a steady 185 since I hung up cross country in college back in 2001 due to the aforementioned habits.
