PERFECT LOVE

1John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth has not been made perfect in love.

I have seeked the Lord for His wisdom and understanding about this passage for several years now. Pondering it in my heart from time to time, when God brought it to mind.

A being comes into perfect love when they care nothing for life in this world anymore. They have been afflicted, persecuted, falsely accused, ridiculed for their faith and word they preach, laughed at, spit on, tortured, shunned, scoffed, humiliated, judged by fleshly beings in spiritual matters.... Jesus went through it. And we had better be willing to go through it too.

Perfect love, still loves them even thou they do it; but prays to God it will be the last torment you will have to go through. It is so greivious to continue to stay in this world, you pray God will take you to be with Him.

I know if I say anything in church or testify, they hate me. If I speak forth the truths God has witnessed to me, they hate me. If I share these messages He has ministered to me with brethen, they hate me. But, I love them anyway, however my hearts greives so bad for those that won't receive what God jas given me to speak forth. I love you anyway, but I am greived because you claim to be believers, but rip and tear and gnash with your teeth at the Lords servant. I fear to speak because I know torment is coming. But, if I don't speak, I fear God more then I fear you; knowing you will kill me for speaking.

He that feareth is not made perfect in love. God is bringing me to the place of perfect love. I accept that all these things will happen to me. I accept the fact it can be any self righteous hypocrite that will kill me too. Man, what a way to go; picking up my cross and following in my Lord's footsteps, unto death. I speak of the flesh.

All the prophets have died the same; at the hands of hypocrites. Stephen died that way too. He didnt die at home comfortable in his bed; he died a soldier on the battle field, serving his Commanding Officer; by what should have been his back up, not the enemy. Amen. Stephen said, behold I see the heavens opened and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. And, they stoned Stephen to death. There is no doubt in my mind Stephen is resurrected just like my Lord. Amen. Stephen prayed God would forgive them, even though he knew they were going to kill him. Perfect love

Do you know Him?
What is consuming your heart?

Love does not demand it's own way,that's why God is so patient and that's why you know the true sacrifice is to stay and minister his love to those who hated him.
And to live out that resurrected life in and through him.
It's clear you love God enough to die,the question is do you love him enough to live.
The thief only comes to rob kill and destroy Jesus came that we would have life and life more abundantly.

This is the place where faith can exist,that fragile substance so pleasing to God. and causes the powers that be to take notice.
This is the place where we can actually do something for God.
Once with him we can no longer produce this heavenly commodity that excites God

1 Corinthians 1:27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,
1 Corinthians 1: 28 and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are

I felt just like you describe a few years ago when I came here that's why my username is thiscrosshurts instead of a cool name like yours..
It hurts to love because love does not demand it's own way it usually gets stepped on alot.
Anyway I have learned to enjoy the battle to see God's will done on the earth and in my life.

Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
yes even dark angels are ministering a service to you, they are making you perfect.

Rag4aCrown, the Lord gave me; funny you should call it cool. I still wear it, it is commanded of Him. In the world I wore it proudly with the bikers I ran with and has been forbidden I lay it down. Yes, I wear it proudy, still; but I am judged and humilated and scoffed at by "believers" because I do. I had rather please my Lord, then the rest.

Yes, I also agree that dark spirits are my ministers also. They are very beautiful and give me the greatest aid. amen. I praise God for them.

I knew you did,a good lawyer never asks a question he does not already know the answer to,so I was confident in asking.
So that was one of those questions that wasn't really a question but a reminder of who we are in Christ and that Spirit is always willing
to shine the light it was given.
I would also wager that those who are lost and hurting do not despise you but find you refreshing.
I think some of the meanest people simply don't believe love is real so they feel obligated to test anyone they see displaying
it.

We have this treasure in earthen vessels to show that the power is from God and not from us.
When we operate out of love we align ourselves with God because God is love.
When we forgive those who harm us we are presenting the love of God (which is eternal)
to them.I would even say we are causing a confrontation between them and the love of God and guess who wins that one.
I always try to see everyone as they were when they were first born,because that is who we are.
We stared with unlimited potential then the world limited us into a corner and blamed us for being stuck in a corner.
God is above time and sees the beginning and the end and every possibility between at the same time

What we are experiencing here in time is not who we are but what we became in a given timeline.
God sees all the possible paths your life can(or could have) take including the one where you won the Nobel peace prize.
But I think his favorite would be the life where you had faith in him even when it looked like it couldn't be real.
