Depending on which on the articles above you read, there are still over 50 to 100 countries today that persecute Christians. In some countries the government itself imprisons
or outright just has their military forces kill Christian believers. This is nothing new, this has been going on for 2,000 years.
Rom 8:36; Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED."
But why? Why? If it's all a myth, made up lies, and nothing but fairy tales.... why kill people over it?
In Star Wars, there is a fictional power called "The Force" it has dark side and a good side. George Lucas himself says it was just something he made up for the story, and it doesn't really exist.
But no countries are outlawing the Star Wars movies. Why outlaw one fiction, and not the other? Unless you think it might not really be fiction after all....
Certain college libraries here in the US have quit carrying Bibles, because they contain radical ideas, and cause unrest, according to University officials, it's mostly all just in-accurate fictional history anyway.
When asked if they have any other books about fictional history, the answers was hundreds. Literally hundreds. So why then, would you ban this book if you don't believe any of it?
More countries persecute Christianity than any other major world religion. Very few countries outlaw Islam or Buddhism. Why is that? If they are all equally "invalid fiction" then why persecute
one group over another?
What are they afraid of?
There are dozens.. ( hundreds?? ) of books right here in the US written by Atheists that denounce Christianity. But virtually non that denounce "The Force" or "The Dark Materials" or "The Golden Compass"
or any of the these other books which have fictional religions in them. Why is that?
Now of course there are some Christian books that denounce other religions, especially Paganism and Wicca, but isn't it interesting that the same libraries that refuse to have Bibles carry books
about Practicing Paganism, Witchcraft, Satanism, and Demon Summoning. I saw a book in a another College Bookstore last week "How to be a Christian Witch - by Valerie Love" apparently it's a multi-book
series.
Why aren't these books banned? New Age, Witchcraft, Humanism, Atheism, ... even books about Islam, Buddhism, and Ba'hai all all in the college bookstores and libraries. Even if you're not a Christian,
you can't believe that they are 'ALL' right. Somebody has to be wrong. So then, why is it always Christianity that's wrong? Why not ban all the other's that you think are fictional?
Here is a web page ( WARNING* - This is a pro-Witchcraft website! ) but it is criticizing 10 countries in the World that ban practicing Witchcraft. Why is only 10 for Witchcraft and over a hundred for Christianity?
Out all all the books in the World, why is the Bible the most banned, the most burned, the most outlawed, and the most criticized.
I'm old enough to remember when Newspapers had Christian articles in them. Try finding one in this day and age.
The bottom line here is. They are afraid of the power of Christianity. They are afraid of the Bible. They say it's all fake and made up stuff. But so is 100% of all the fiction books in the Bookstore.
Books that promote Racism, Radicalism, Transgenderism, Same-sex and Bi-Sexual relationships are promoted, but the Bible is too "old fashioned" and "too controversial". Hmmm, those other books
aren't controversial?
The very fact that that so many people and countries are trying to ban Christianity and the Bible, is proof enough to me, that even though they say they don't believe any of it....
... they do.
