In life, some things become very personal to us.Our Faith, people we most care for,and our needs in life as a whole.Sometimes those things which we take very personal, cloud our good judgment.
Sometimes we place hope above our own knowledge. This is not always a bad thing to do,but when we hope in what does not happen,we think I knew it! Anything this good just does not seem to last for me,something always seems to cloud on it and rain.
It is these times through the hard rain, that we are reminded of something that is so inportant to our own well being. To be content.( Matt 6:25-34)puts life into perspective( meaning a mental view of,or the ability the discern the relative importance of things.)In this following scripture please allow me to tell you what this tells me. verse 25 For this reason I say to you,(Personal!) do not be worried about your life! verse 26 look to others rather then self.
Here birds are used, and our Lord takes care of them. verse 27 personal yet again, talked about already in verse 25 and right away, again here! verse 30, again reference to verse 26, then verse 33 BUT ( getting Personal yet again!) Seek first HIS Kingdom and HIS righteousness( or right standing with our Lord) and ALL these things( things we believe we have need of) will be added to you. verse 34 So do not worry( back to verse 25,and 27 yet again!!) about tomorrow;for tomorrow will care for itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own! The point to trouble is that we do not find our self in the middle of it! Sometimes we point at others to our own problems,LOOK at that heathen!! They have a nice house, fancy car, bills all paid, and I am a believer!! I am in great need!! How is this fair and just unto me?? Jesus said his Kingdom was not of this earth,is ours?
I never saw Jesus or his disciples living large on the earth, many believe his promises included things. They point to those believers who have such things, as evidence to there own Faith. They give scripture pointing to the reason they have,to believe for such THINGS.What cloud of rain has come upon them,is due to the fact, that there eyes and there minds are looking to these things,as to whether they believe they are in the faith of Christ or not?
Did Jesus measure THINGS by faith? Or did Jesus measure himself,by his word he spoke unto us? When we arrived here on this earth,we brought nothing with us,and when we leave this earth,we will take nothing with us,we are as we started in life my friends. Hence in my humble opinion in the beginning and in the very end,Jesus is enough for us.
He brought us forth, and he will take us back to where we started in him. Therefore being personal to us.( phil 4:4-14) Peace with self, verse 6 peace with our Father, verse 7 and finally peace in our very minds! verse 8-9. Troubles?? having peace with this as well verse 10-14 verse 14 YOU have done well to share with me.in what?? MY affliction! not YOUR affliction! We find this my brothers and sisters, that when our eyes are on anothers needs, ours gets taken care of. The reason for this is because LOVE is!!! the perfect bond of unity with us!( Colossians 3:14-17)
When we have God's Word in us, we have what we need, and then we find what we truly do have, then we can joyfully give others! I hope you will all consider this today,I pray that this will make your joy in Jesus more complete!( Phil 2:2-4!!) Blessing to you all!
