Pharoah Thutmose III is quite likely the Pharoah who knew Moses. Thutmose, or Thutmoses for one thing is names Moses. Thut means Thoth and Moses means to be born. This Pharoah's name means 'Thoth be Born.' Moses' name means to be born or bring forth out of water. The Thutmoses took over Egypt and replaced the old Pharoah with their new line. This explains the new Pharoahs who disliked Israel. Also, Thutmose III reigned in 1400 BC. If Solomon's first temple was started in 966 BC, then according to 1 Kings 6:1 480 years before was the time of the Exodus. That year would be 1446 BC the same year Thutmose III was known to reign as Pharoah.
