Please, a ton of prayers: Part I and II

I need some prayers please. It is a long personal story::embarasse

My dad died two years ago and left us 100% broke. The following year, my cousin Andy (30) moved in with us along with his wife, Amy (29), and their three children (Trinity age 6, Tia age 9, and Amber age11.) Since then, we have had good times and bad. But most of all, my mom and I have finally found a family. But, we have some major problems-

This past September my mom’s world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with not only Diabetes type II, but also extreme spinal stenosis (“a condition due to narrowing of the spinal cord causing severe nerve pinching which leads to persistent pain in the buttocks, limping, lack of feeling in the lower extremities, and decreased physical activity.”) and degenerative disc disease in her back.

Because of this pain, we went to see a muscular specialist in order to be able and help her. The doctor told her that she could go through an I.D.D. machine- an experimental therapy to heal her spine. Deciding to do this, my mom consented to doing the therapy. She had to go through extreme physical pain for five days a week- in order to stop the degenerating of her spine. At the end, my mom’s spine was totally healed and 100% perfect. But sadly, there had already been too much damage done to her spine, and too much time of not being able to walk- and as a result, she no longer can. She still suffers from extreme muscle spasms in her thighs, groin, feet and legs. She can no longer walk as she is now wheelchair bound because of this.

During all of this, my mom also found out some very bad news- she found out that she has been diabetic for over ten years, and her doctor never told her. She needed to have emergency laser surgery immediately on her eyes. It turns out, that she was bleeding behind her eyes. In order to prevent blindness, she had to undergo emergency laser surgery. We currently use Food stamps, and can barely make ends meet, or the house payments. I have never had a job, and I can’t seem to get one, as it seems that you already need experience for every job I apply for. I keep applying for jobs, but it does no good.

Then, a few problems this summer happened- I got sick, and had to be hospitalized for four days due to bad stomach ulcers, and intestinal problems. Three of my adopted sisters both needed serious medical attention and surgeries- Amy broke her elbow and had to have knee surgery to remove lose cartilage around the bone of her kneecap. Tia, the 9 year old, needed to have emergency surgery to remove a growth on her back over the secondary sinus canal, and Trinity the 6 year old had multiple ENT surgeries. She had to have tubes put in both of her ears, and then she had to have both her tonsils and adenoids removed. All of these hospitalizations and surgeries happened within two months time.

And then we then had some unplanned financial problems occur. We had decided to start a family business in real estate. We would buy houses that were in foreclosure and then rent them out to people who needed homes. My adopted brother, Andy, decided to study so he would be able to get his loan officer license to be able to buy and sell houses. In good faith, my mom Andy, and I went to an auction and bought a house- much to our dismay; we were not allowed to keep this house because it was a manufactured house. So we lost the money that we had used in good faith to buy the house.

Trying to survive, my adopted brother tried to still get his license. He was only able to take the test once- the man that was going to hire him for a job got fired. As the saying goes “When it rains, it pours” was definitely applied to us. On top of the medical problems, and the financial problems, we yet again had more to deal with- both family cars broke, our fridge broke, and the garage door got busted in. It seemed that no matter which direction we turned all we got was bad luck.

What I need, is a ton or prayers please.

Please, a ton of prayers Part II

I am not sure if I can add something or not, but here goes:

We need to somehow make an income. My adopted brother will not get off his butt- all he does all day, and night (no kidding) is play a computer game- Eve Online. He NEVER stops. It was making his wife mad, until her got her to join him. Her reasoning is to placate him. He was on from 9 p.m. last night to 5 a.m. this morning.

I depend on these people a lot- I can't take care of my mom myself (I have no job, can't drive, and can't give her the insulin.) If I upset them too much, they will leave us. Which is a constant fear that I have.

I don't want to make him mad by saying anything, but what do I do?!

Also, I can't seem to sleep well the past two nights because I worry so much. Please pray for me to be able and get a good night's sleep.

Hi there sister, I merged your two threads together, I think it's better if we have them both in one thread, what do you think?

As you may have seen I thought I had a few problems in my life, but everyday God shows me how fortunate I am.

The Bible is the only Word of God, the Living Word of God and the Bible tells us we should be blessed when we are suffering.

Matthew 5:1-12

1Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2and he began to teach them saying:
3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

It is hard times and you sound so cheery and lively, I have to say that you are a strong person, so strong. I can't do anything physical to help you, but I can pray for you, I can pray for you the whole day long.

God bless you sister
Much love
teraside

I did not know I could merge the posts- I am sorry. Thank you so much for responding to my thread :) I try to be strong, I really do. Sometimes it is just so hard. I appreciate any prayers

Only moderators can merge posts, so there's nothing to worry about. I have more scripture for you. Something about God.

Matthew 19:26
26Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

He is the Alpha and Omega, He will pull you through, have faith!

You are remembered at the feet of Jesus

You are remembered at the feet of Jesus...give to him all your pains and He will carry for you...Come to me all who are burdened I will give you rest...Find the rest in Jesus..:boy_hug: :girl_hug:

It seems things got worse- my mom needs her diabetic medicine, and we ran out of food now-literally. The bills are so high, and no one can find a job. Please, pray

Faith sister, faith in Jesus.

Matthew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

GOD is with you and sees all that is happening. Trust in Him and you will see great changes. Don't miss out by wavering in faith. Instead, remember that GOD is the one that "spoke" and the world was created. GOD sent Jesus to die on the Cross for us. He loves us so do not fear nor worry about anything no matter how difficult. Scripture and prayer should ALWAYS ease our trouble minds and hearts

Matthew 6:25
[ Do Not Worry ] "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Sealightbreeze, you astound me

You are right Sealightbreeze. I have had quite a few thunderstorms in my life and a lot of flooding too.
You are a beautiful person. Your story is so awesome. I am so humbled by your story. I have been reading many of your posts in here and was thinking how nice and simply Christian you were, so caring for others. You stood out with your humble affection.
I see the love of Lord Jesus Christ in you. Blessed are the meek.
I simply love you, in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. May the Holy Spirit continue to shine in you.
I have prayed for you Sealightbreeze. Amen and praise the Lord that there are beautiful people like you in this world.
Love:Pixie

Thank you so very much for the prayers. The two grandpa's came through Friday- so we have enough food for the weekend right now. Thank you both Chad and Pixie so much for your words. They mean a lot to me.

Please continue to pray for us. Yesterday, my mom cried because she can't afford medicine for me- I know she needs it most- she could literally die without hers. Please pray that my heart will be strong and pure through this hard time. I try to do the best I can.

Father you know this situation that sealightbreeze is in and I ask that you provide the needs for this family and heal any areas where healing is needed. You supply all our needs according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus so I ask for your provision and blessing on them all in Jesus name. Amen

Hoping for smiles to end your tears

Sealightbreeze: I am always concerned about your poverty. Remember that God is in charge of your life and if you stay true to Him, He will help you to overcome this difficult time. Keep your prayers up. Lord Jesus, please help Sealightbreeze and her family heal, in the way that our Father so chooses.

Thank you Lord. Amen:Pixie:love: :note:

Thank you both it means so much- I actually am feeling better. Praise the Lord!! sorry I keep asking for prayers. I know others need them more than I do

Heavenly Father, please help sealightbreeze find comfort in Your promise that You'll never leave us, You'll never forsake us. Everything is for Your glory God. Lord I pray for Your perfect will in sealightbreeze's life. I lift her, her mother, and the rest of her family up in prayer. Amen.

First of all, I want to thank you all for the prayers so far- they have helped so much. I have another request now please- my brother finally got an interview for a job. He is a master tech mechanic. The only problem- he has no license right now.

Please pray that he can go along with the interview, not be asked for a license, and get the job. If he is asked for a license, he will not get the job.

Father you know the situation and you answer before we even ask you. I pray that you will open the right doors for this brother for the job that you have for him and if this is the job then he will not need the licence.

Thank you that You hear our prayers and answer them when we pray according to your will and in Your name. I pray for your favour over this man in Jesus' name amen.

 :rainbow: :rose:
