I feel horrible. Today was not my best day - I let little things get on my nerves, I was cold/indifferent to most of the strangers I came across, my nerves are shot, etc. I want to be a good person for Him so bad but I fall short so often...

My problem is this: in a weak moment while talking to our precious Lord about all my shortcomings and downfalls, I actually told Him that 'the Holy Spirit doesn't help me' or 'the Holy Spirit isin't helping me', something like that. I can't believe I told Him this. I'm in tears as I type this! I've begged for forgiveness from Him.

Someone please tell me if this is blaspheming the Holy Spirit of our Lord. I am so sad and heartbroken that I would even think such a thought, much less tell Him this in prayer.

Please help me! I know blaspheming the Holy Spirit is the worst of the worst of sins and is completely unforgiveable. My heart is broken in two with worry and regret worrying about if what I said was blasphemy and if it's forgiveable.

My question: Will He forgive me for this???

hi remember jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins, believe the lord knows you every hair on your head,he called you by name, you are his creation, repent to the lord, his forgivness surpasses, dont dwell on it,you are forgiventrust him,,,gelly

You are young in your walk with Jesus. He knows your heart. He knows everything about you. He is the alpha and omega and knows all our thoughts and what we think, do and say as He is all knowing. Just make sure you truly repent when you sin and know that God forgives us according to: 1 John 1.9.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you when you pick up the Bible to read it so that you will understand it. He is our helper, comforter and Jesus said He will never leave us or forsake us.

God bless

As as you are remorseful for what you have done, and ask our Lord and Saviour for forgiveness, I truly feel that God will forgive you. Jesus realizes that we're human and succeptable to sin. If He had a zero tolerance for sin, and did not offer forgivness, then - let's face it. Heaven would be a REALLY empty place.

You seem apologetic for what you have said. I truly feel that The Lord has forgiven you.

Thank all of you for replying with your encouragement and words of wisdom. I greatly appreciate it and you've all helped me so much. God bless you all.

Again, thank you. This makes me feel so better, it really does.

I hope our two cents count for something. Keep the faith, Christ is always with you - it just depends on what you do with Him. Not every day can be a five star day. Some times, life just stinks it may seem. But we can say and do things we don't mean. Just remember that God loves us, and is willing to forgive if we are truly sorry.

I can assure you that everyone that replied helped me in so many ways. Being that I really have no one that I can talk to about our Lord friends-wise, coming here and getting biblical answers to my question helped tremendously. Again, I appreciate it so much.

I can understand your plight, having no one to share our Lord with ILoveYeshuath I too am the only one saved in my own family,
so my head is stuck in my Bible, and my study and prayer time, and most church services I go to are by myself, I meet people in the church, but go can come alone, well we're never alone, as His Holy Spirit is always with us.

But when we meet with Him, sure He is what makes the feast true enough.
who else do we need.

At times I actually like being in church by myself, although people surround me, I like it when I close my eyes, the world fades away, and you do feel it is just you and Jesus, those times are the very best.

Keep coming to here, it's great to fellowship, and we can help each other.

I too know you are forgiven, you were sincere in your post, so I'm positive you were sincere before Jesus too.
Let it go now, don't dwell on it, that's what satan loves to do, keep bringing it to our rememberance, don't please him.

Wow! I can't get over how much your life mirrors mine. That's exactly how I feel. You've just described my life. But you're right, we're never really alone - He's closer than the air we breath; closer than a brother. Actually He's my Valentine this year (actually ever year) as well!

Thank you so much for the last paragraph, too. Your words helped me so much. I do believe the Lord is talking to me through everyone who replied to this thread.

For you, I just have a few simple questions before I answer yours.

When you claimed that the Holy Spirit doesn't help, is this any different from people who claim that Jesus does not exist?

Are non-believers not able to be saved? What did Jesus die for?

Did He die so that you can live a life of trying to fulfil the 10 commandments? Did he die so you can live a wavering, wandering life of uncertainty? That's a very unreliable God then, isn't he?

Did God not say that 'ALL your sins and iniquities I will remember NO MORE?' Why then, are you condemning yourself?

Satan can only get you to condemn yourself. If you don't know the truths of God enough, then Satan would deceive you, because he knows the Bible cover to cover! I urge you to read more and spend time with the Lord.

Don't go to other people for salvation when it's something between you and God. Only when you do will you realise that the heart of God, YHVH is actually very gentle! More than you desire, he forgives you. When you tell him, it's ok, because Christians get mad at God when things don't go their way.

We're childlike, because we take him for granted. We expect Him to do things for us and sulk when he has reasons not to. In fact, He has a better plan! You may think that the Holy Spirit isn't helping, but who can put you in the right place, at the right time except for the one who has the knowledge to the past future and end?

Rejoice, I tell you!

Let me tell you what WOULD happen if nobody told you this truth:

This is one of the common tactics that the devil uses. When you condemn yourself, YOU pull away from God. Notice. It's not God from you. You, without asking God, you deny yourself of God's blessings. Jesus is you everything. Apart from Him, you have nothing.

You see? You didnt feel like praying anymore do you? You're blocking yourself from the marvellous truths. Man's words can only comfort temporarily. God's words last an eternity. Do you want our words of sympathy, or HIS words of revelation? Don't ever condemn yourself again I tell you, or I'll be ****** at you in the name of Jesus!

We all fall into sin every now and then, so what makes you SPECIAL that you WON'T be forgiven? >_>

The time I spoke of that I sinned and couldn't handle the dirt of it.

After I'd repented, and I mean seriously,
I was just reading earlier and can't find it now, but is was, that if we harbour on our sin, we enjoy it, instead of hating it and wanting rid of it so that in itself becomes sin. As if we hate it we won't want to remeber it at all, it disgusts us. So we are eager to let go of it.

This word was given to me just sitting in the garden, I was reading a leaflet on Baptism as I was about to be so, it was,
I heard that still small voice (not audiable) telling me 'didn't I forgive Peter, why do you not think I'd not forgive you? Peter denied me, no sin is greater than any other sin'

It was those last words, 'no sin is greater than any other sin'
when I received this it all went, peace was restored, and I let go.

Please come back, tell us, all is well with you, or if not, then share.

I know, well I'm sure we all do, what's its like to let the Lord down, but His love doesn't change for us. He wants us to keep on walking with Him, by His side, He will pick us up when we fall down.
He really does understand, more than we'll give Him credit for.

We shall just love Him back, and give Him our all on the alter.
Amen

Matthew 26 v 74 - 75
Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the rooster crowed.
And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the rooster crows, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out and wept bitterly.

Little do we know how we should act in very difficult situations, if we were left to ourselves.
1 Corinthians 10 v 12
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

let us all distrust our own hearts, and rely wholly on the Lord.

Peter wept bitterly. Sorrow for sin must not be slight, but great and deep. Peter, who wept so bitterly for denying Christ, never denied him again, (go and sin no more, comes to mind) but confessed him often in the face of danger.
True repentance for any sin will be shown by the contrary grace and duty, that is a sign of our sorrowing not only bitterly, but sincerely.

Dear Sister

What a situation you are in

A situation which is quite without foundation.

You are a child of God. God is your Father. God loves you without reserve, unconditionally. "He knows your frame...He remebers the you (like me) are dust". But despite that, He sent His Son to die for us....to save us. Blessed be His Name He is the SAVIOUR

Trust Jesus. Believe his word as you read it. Jesus will bring you through as you regularly call upon His Name.

In His love

Pray you've got much help from these posts.
That's why we're here, to help each other, and hold each other up.

Maureen, Stephen, Faeleia, Rizen...I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your replies. God bless you all. It's taken me awhile to get back and thank you.

Let The Comforter Comfort You...

ILOVE YESHUAH:This very day, I consoled another believer about this very same thing so I had these scriptures "at the ready."
Matthew12: 22 - 32 Gives the most accurate account of what "blaspheming the Holy Spirit" really means. When you have witnessed the workings of the Holy Spirit (doing something that should have you in awe of God's power and grace) and, because of a hard heart you attribute it to Satan - that's slander! You have not done that.
All that you have done is out of your frustrations, you voiced that you needed more than the Holy Spirit. The fact that you are remorseful, shows that you have a Godly-fear, a conviction that pierced your heart and saddened you. Because He dwells in your heart, you felt His grief. But, be encouraged, God draws closer to those with a contrite heart.

Praying For You!

you will if only...

I am happy to joing this site, and am also verry happy to comeacross this question, because this month is the month of the Holy Gost. first i will like to ask you ... HAVE YOU BEEN BAPTYSED IN HOLY SPIRIT? well which ever way it maybe, hence you have done wrong and you have known that what you did is a sin,.. i believe you did it whan you did not know, and you have beg for foregiveness. then you will be foregiven.
You shuld fast and pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to come on you, because without the spirit Jesus could not even do anything, but when the Spirit came upon him , he began to do mirracle.

A skeptical was teasing his christian friend. He asked,"George, what would you if whan you die you found there wasn't Heaven after all?" The chritian smiled and said, "i will would say that i had a fine time getting there anyway." Then the christian companion shot back with a more difficult question: "Fred, what woud you say,if whan you die,you found there was such a place as Hell after all?'
