Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Please, I beg you, to pray for me right now. I'm under a severe attack from Satan and he's bringing back my past, causing me to relapse into depression. I'm fighting for all I'm worth, but I'm slowly giving up. And I also need prayer and encouragment for another personal situation in my life right now.
Thanks bunches,
~drowning

drowning, you must believe what God has said about you.

2Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

If there is something (disobedience) that has seperated you from Christ, repent and be restored. If there isn't anything then tell that punk satan that you are not falling for his cheap tricks and that you believe what God has said.

Father I ask in Jesus' name that you grant drowning the ability to see what you have done for him in Christ Jesus. Help him to change his mindset and and show him that satan's power is limited and he cannot resurrect the dead man without our help. Work the spiritual gift of faith through drowning and help him stand firm in your power and might against this attach and I thank you Father that what you have done for many others you will do for drowning.Amen.

I can relate about going into depression because of my past. Though this is a difficult season, it is just that a season and it will only last for a short time. Spring will soon be here and you will certainly be in my prayers during this time.

In I Corinthians 10: 13 - "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

Though it talks about temptation here, I also believe that the Lord is with us in all situations. Be encourage dear friend - He is there with you and I in my prayers. God bless

Best wishes,
Debbie

Done and done, - may you be strengthened in the Spirtit and encouraged by your salvation. 1 Cor 10:13 read it read it and read it again he is faithful and will show you the way out of this place.

Your in my prayers brother.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

My brother, I will not call you by the handle you have chosen.
"Resist the devil, he must flee!" James 4:7

I prayed for you and here are scriptures to share with you

"......your chains have been broken" mark 5:4

"Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell.
He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. "Quick get up"
he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists. Acts 12:7

"Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake, that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once the prison doors flew open, ...everybody's chains came loose"

I will keep you in my prayers and may the Lord be with you during this time. Trust in Him.

your friend

Dear Drowning,
Also, it is important to remember that we all fall. I don't know if your particular problem is with temptation or something else. But, I do know that Jesus is faithful and he loves us unconditionally. If you fall, Jesus does not turn his back on you. The price he paid for us was very great and his love for us is just that much. However, you need to make sure that you do not cut communication with Him. God does keep in mind that we are dust. And if you do not let Satan condemn you and you continue to call on Jesus he will see you through all things. David was a man after GOD'S own heart not because he was HOLY. It was because he realized (sometimes it took him a little while) he in himself was nothing. And he was not to proud to throw himself prostrate in the presence of the LORD and cry out to him for forgiveness and peace. Jesus convicts us of sin, he does not condemn us. Satan uses condemnation to get you to give upon yourself and he is very masterful at it. Know that Jesus loves you right here, right now and he will help you to come through this. Jesus said to come to him as you are. We all fall short and that is the BEAUTY of the salvation our Mighty Brother came to give us freely. Don't give up on yourself, Because Jesus will never give up on you. If you would like to talk further you can get me at [email protected] and anyone else can e-mail me. Peace and Love to All my brothers and sisters. I love you all.

Dear Drowning,

Everyday Satan pulls at us.. and some of us achieve and some of us dont, that is why we must ask everyone to remember us in their prayers also. Maybe be with everyone that is lost and needs God.. Give everyone strength to fight off Satan.. God Bless all, and Drowning, while he is going thru tough times.. Your Sister, Suzeva

God bless you and keep you. Father I ask for your strength of purpose to flow through this child of yours. I ask you to lift him up and encourage his soul. Father may He realize your love and presence. You are worthy o Lord. Thank you for breaking through and giving what is needed. In the name of Jesus Amen

Thank you so much, brothers and sisters. And to answer a few questions, no, this is not a temptation I'm dealing with, it's heartbreak. And I'm the one who made it as bad as it is, and I know God wants all my problems and hurts, but why should I let Him carry something I could've avoided by simply saying 'no?' It's not His fault I'm where I am now, it's mine. The only thing I want God to do is help me throguh this, not taking something that was originally my fault and making it His.
Thanks so much for the prayers too, I'm strengthened by them.

Lifting you up Brother. I have had my struggles with depression, so I can relate with that. All of the above responses are great, and I'd like to add a little.
One tool that Christ graced us with is the authority, through Christ, to rebuke such attacks from the devil and his aids. Jesus set an astounding example by talking to problems (like when He rebuked the storm). I heard a pastor once make an excellent statement. He stated that we should spend more time talking to ourselves rather than listening. This incredible gift from God has helped me through the times when satan is attacking and my inward talk becomes influenced.
May God bless you with the comfort and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and may the blood of Christ cover you.

Oh my friend I wish I could give you a hug, please don't do this to yourself. Don't listen to the enemy.

If you are now going through the consequences of what you did, God is right there with you. "The Lord gives strength to his people, the Lord blesses his people with peace" Psalm 29:11
Pray and ask Him for help. We are your friends at TJ praying for you.

As a friend, I want to encourage you to change your handle name and your signature. With calling yourself 'drowning' and your are in 'chains' its affirming something sad and negative.

Jesus came to set us free, ........He wants us to fly...teeth: ....not drown.

Isa40:31
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Jesus loves you so much:love:

Am I listening to the enemy? I don't even know what thoughts are mine and what thoughts aren't (if that really made any sense). But let me assure you, and everyone else here, I've been down to the wire before and had the knife out to start cutting away at myself, but God intervened. I am hoping now He will do so again. But it makes me ashamed to be handing everything down to Him to take care of when I am rightfully suffering all this that I have brought on myself. And I don't want anyone feeling sorry for me either, just pray. I strongly believe there's a reason for everything, but when it comes to my set of problems, I am left speechless...and drowning.

But drowning....this IS the Christian life. This is why Christ died. We are to lean on him for everything and in every way. There is no life within us. Only Christ. What you are experiencing is a form of pride. Pride comes in all kinds of disguises. And God wants us to realize that we are in deep and utter need of Him for the whole of our lives. As much as you hate it and are ashamed and confused you are actually on the path of choice and on the way out if you are leaning upon your Lord and his love and sacrifice for you. I have found that if I pray the Lord's prayer applying it to my situation I am much helped.

For instance...Lord I pray that glory come to your Name in Drowning's life. I pray that your Name be made holy and hallowed. I pray that your kingdom come and your will be done in his life situation. And continute through the whole prayer applying it to yourself. You will be praying according to the will of God and He will break through to you.

Blessings as you find HIS WAY and not your own.

Dont give up! Giving into the enemy is not worth anything. I know it's hard everyone suffers from time to time even myself. Remember that surpassing the enemy will bring great glory to God and greater strength to yourself. Call out the Lord for help whenever you feel scared. Hes your dad his wish is to love and protect you from all harm. Call to your dad and let him know your scared, hurt, suffering, anything it might be just call to your father and let him know whats bothering you.

Lord Jesus I come to you today in prayer for a sibling. They are hurting Lord and I want them to be happy, they know you Lord so they are happy but they are confused and lost Father. Please let them be comforted, send them a friend Lord who can help them, Let the soul of this individual be blessed with more fruit Lord for they hunger for you. I pray Lord you heal them with whatever ales within them and cast Satan away from their body lord for their soul is yours and not his. I pray this in your most holy precious name lord jesus. AMEN!

I want to ask you if you have any family support or Christian friends, or church members to pray with and help you?
Also maybe its personal question but I am going to ask if you are getting any counselling preferably Christian, or help for depression?
If you are not maybe this is worth considering.

I pray for you to call on Jesus, just say his name quietly allow Him to bring you peace. Give Him this burden, this is not yours to carry.

'Cast ALL your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. 1Peter5:7

cast ALL your 'set of problems' on Him because He cares for you.

No, i don't need counseling; I'm a counsler myself. it seems silly to me to be getting counsel from a counsler FOR a counsler. And this is my only real support network. i have a few friends at church, and my parents ... they just dont really understand what it means to be mad at God i guess. not mad, i mean, but...wondering, begging, pleading.
