PloughBoy?

Not lately.
Part of my brain things we are at odds largely b/c he/she doesn't spread scripture.
Thing is, you can't trust a lot of people on the net b/c many (Left) make fake accounts to spread hate, false info, and here God and the Bible out of context to cause problems.
I don't know how to see past post and reactions so...

can you please take a little time next time you draft a post to check through it? A few too many spelling mistakes for a chap like yourself. No mean or nasty, but it throws my tiny mind. (We have 5 or 15 minutes, after posting, to edit our post - forgive me please but I can't remember and am happy to be informed. Fairly sure it's 15) (also, please understand that I am not expecting you or anyone else to be word perfect and never have a typo!! )

Regarding your message, 'tis best to trust the Lord and be found a faithful servant, listening and hearing and doing as He wills.
We then can bypass the trust in man problem and allow the Spirit to minister truth to us which we can minister to others, grace-fully

Being honest about our need for His work in His Body, thereby also accepting admonition, exhortation, correction and encouragement as He, in His love and wisdom, gives, through other members of the Body. That requires humility on our part and genuine readiness and delight to do His will.

I know I need sharpening often and yet my flesh too often thinks otherwise.

If we would all really get real with what lovingkindness is, we would probably find a need to submit more to the Spirit than we do.

Let us be thankful...
that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Ephesians 5:27

Bless you ....><>

Hello there,

I ask about @PloughBoy, because of his advice to me, made in many of his responses. It was that I should just read the word of God, as it stands, word for word, not seeking to study it, but just let the Holy Spirit use it to influence heart and life, and open my eyes to the nature and purpose of God revealed there.

PloughBoy loves God, and loves His word. He is a larger than life character, with a big heart. He is a man of advanced years, and may have fallen asleep in Christ. We may never know, but I miss him.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

Hello again,

The other helpful thing that @PloughBoy said to me was to take note of the names listed, of people, and countries, and I realise the value of doing that at the moment, for the countries spoken of in prophetic passages, concerning those nations that will come against Israel in latter days, are all there as part of the historical account, and can be identified in the conflicts of the present day, and that to come. The people also who are listed in genealogical records, within the pages of Scripture, appear in the events that occur later, and by noting them, you can get an understanding of the background, and appreciate cause and effect in regard to the events that take place. But more importantly, you can see God's hand at work and appreciate His plan and purpose.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
our risen and glorified
Saviour, Lord and Head.
Chris

There are no "spelling mistakes".
I type better than most and far better than most who type in largely incoherent sentences.
For the most part, I type how I talk and how I'm thinking. This isn't English class.
IDK if this was meant for someone else but I've seen far worse on here and numerous other sites and it's not a good thing. Lastly, I don't make a "draft" in conversational posts. I might go back over it but drafts I do not make.
I don't use " 'tis" in anything and don't call people out on it. If I can't understand their raving monkey bashing that is their "typing" then I will call it.
This entire site, like any with forums, at having a discussion on anything is flawed. You don't see what you do in-person and there's no option to "interject". No way to see mannerisms, emotions, speech patterns, etc.
I've no hate for people who get REALLY upset at what I post but they tend to forget or care that the Author said it first. As He is the Creator, Judge, and Authority in all things and I will NOT bend for anyone that sets off a lot of people Christians included.
Was Jesus not "loving and kind" when he "took a whip of cords and chased out" those who were defiling the Temple? Pretty sure He was and if we saw that at a church we'd have the right to do the same.

On his profile page, it says......

Last seen Yesterday at 3:23 PM

That would make it Sunday the 5 of November.

He is just in a reflective mood. Thats a good thing. He will post something eventually when he is ready.

I really don't associate myself with over Cromwell type people. I know Baptists have their own sports leagues and everything, but I'm way better at both German language and British history than they are, and he was never a citizen of the United States anyway.

I looked up the Cromwell personality, sinse you refused to simply state your view on the matter (its best to keep it simple if your object is to effectively communicate). This was what I found....

Cromwell has a reputation for being dour, and his zealous belief in Puritan ideals did indeed give him strict views on what constituted moral behavior. With his commanding voice and personality, Cromwell was frequently forceful and assertive, but he also had a very grave temperament that bordered on the melancholic.

I wouldnt want you at my funeral.

You only know his religious outlook. Oliver Cromwell was the ultimate church and state Mix'N'Mingele. I didn't misspell anything in that sentence.
