there are som many religions out there, so many people sayimg they have the truth. there are ven more people out there who believe that we all r going to end uop the same place no matter what religion we are . so long as we lead a good life we're ok.

however we know that everything on this earth belongs to GOD
The earth is the LORD's and everything in it, the world , and all who live in it(psalms 24:1)

and we also know that JESUS is the only way to the Father
Jesus answered "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me..." (John 14:6)

my question is how do we as chrisrtians witness to these people who don't believe this. i met this person who does and they think that no matter what religion we all go to heaven.

to me this is an issue that needs to be address and i personally need some help because in talkin to these people i don't want to ostracize them.

how do we witness to muslims and hindus and all the others.

we are called to so how do we start.

GOD BLESS

Lead by example of your life.

Become a friend of that person.

Pray for them that the Holy Spirit would move in them, be ready to be used by God.

I understand the statement in red word for word. However I might question that perhaps HOW people come to the Father through Jesus may happen in different ways. The English language can be very misleading. It can look like it means only one thing but can embrace many other things. Jesus spoke in such a manner that the disciples and all of us have to think very carefully rather than just going word for word without a thought.

Jesus is the only Way to the Father..Jesus said it himself, simply, directly, and truthfully. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Tell them that God cannot brush sin under the rug; that sin has to be atoned for. Tell them the story of Jesus. Let the Holy Spirit give you the words and leave the results up to God.

This in one of the major areas where as christians we have taken a verse in the bible (John 14:6) to the exclusion of all others and given it a meaning that it never had. I always had trouble with that verse. What if someone never heard of Jesus? Would that mean that they would go to hell? That goes against everything that the bible teaches about God being fair. Matt 7:21-23 gives us the true answer:
*21*Not everyone who keeps saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will get into the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven. *22*Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name, drive out demons in your name, and performed many miracles in your name, didn’t we?’ *23*Then I’ll tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you evildoers!’
Jesus clearly tells us that calling Him Lord will NOT get us into heaven. Only through our actions can we earn a place in heaven. Jesus says here that He doesn't even listen to us calling Him Lord. Many churches today prophesise in His name, drive out demons and perform miracles or at least claim to do so, yet in their hearts they are evil and they do not forgive others for their sins. Jesus does not know them and He will simply tell them to go away. He will only call His true followers to him. Those who do His will in all parts of their lives whether they believe in Him or not.

John 14:6 has a very deeper meaning. Jesus paid the price for our sins regardless or whether we accept Him or not. We only need to follow that which He has taught and ask for forgiveness and we shall receive it. It is not Jesus that will get us into heaven, but rather His way of life. If we follow His way of life He will ask God to pardon our sins and not because we called Him our Lord.

With that said, we also can't say that if a person follows other gods they will go to heaven. Any one who falls down before a dead idol cannot possibly be doing Jesus' will because their god is dead and cannot teach them anything. But just because someone is muslim and follow the teachings of Muhammad we can't say that they are going to hell when many of those teachings is the same as what Jesus taught. What we should do is to set an example for others and not judge them for their beliefs. This is the only way to lead others to Jesus and if we continually judge them for their beliefs we will only drive them away from Jesus altogether.
