Ok I think the question is pretty straight forward. What do you believe we are here for if we are here for anything. I've heard people say that our purpose is to praise God however personally that seems a bit selfish and why couldn't we just do it in heaven?

Let's just say that from all eternity God had one Son and He wanted a bigger family.
The Son will have His wedding soon Revelation 19:7-10 and we will live happily ever after. Hebrews 12:22 , 2 Timothy 2:19
That's why we are here. Its all about Him, we were given breath for Him, our hearts beats for Him, we were given a mind for Him,we were given strength for Him and only by living for Him we will find purpose of meaning.

YES , I agree GOD wanted a family made after the pattern JESUS CHRIST ! And He wants to live though these who are willing. To bring truth and the way of salvation to others here on earth!
and to teach others who have come to Him ,how to over come this world and walk in His power!

God is creative and for some reason he decided to create the human race. why exactly we dot know. but we do know that the way the world is today is not what God wanted. but that is the price that came when we are given free choice to follow GOd or not. we chose not to follow and thus a sinful world. God will destroy sin and had given us a chance to chose to follow him again through Jesus Christ.
GOd wants humans to be happy that was the plan. humans ruined it by their own choice. Jesus came to give us a way out of our choice. now its up to us.
