We have another example here regarding, the law, the police, places of worship

In the UK a Law has been put in place prior to this event due to covid, no more than six people should come together in a group, so the law was in place before the Good Friday service took place and those attending will have known.

But there are other factors and I welcome the thoughts and comments of others.

London has had many instances of law braking over covid rules, London has had a high covid level of infections and deaths, London is also a highly populated city, it also includes people from all over the world, especially afro Caribbean which are said to be at greater risk to covid and are refusing the covid jab more than other nationalities.

It is true they broke the law, a law set long before Easter, a law they will have known about.

But, here we have a group of police officers, as if picking on a certain place of worship. I know of no knowledge from the news of any other similar incident over the Easter period.

For me I think too many Christians like to play victims, they look at every law that curtails anything that they want to do and label it as persecution. Compare and contrast with what our dear beloved brothers and sisters rightly fear may well happen to them, countries where the authorities brutally treat Christians, Iran, China, North Korea and many Arab countries. Arbitrary imprisonment, torture and martyrdom, and there are others where it's the fellow citizens that are the problem. India, Pakistan, many African countries, often police are impervious and uninterested about homes torched, severe beating, rape, kidnapping, forced marriage and conversion. That's real persecution and so for westerners to claim solidarity because the authorities enforce Covid regulations in my mind, it's a bit rich.

I go to a gym and the owner's often complaining he gets visits from the police checking if he's only doing outdoor exercise. He's just being checked out, not persecuted.

Many places of worship are using the Internet and YouTube in one form or another. It is interesting to heck out their services and creed o line and watch a few. This could be a good way for searching hearts to find a place they feel comfortable with. A new door a new window, may the Spirit guide all those whose hearts are searching. God loves a searching heart.

I checked one last Sunday and two people from Malta added a chat message of blessing and encouragement, it is a small world.

We are, as born again, washed and regenerated souls, living stones, in the one true Church, the body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, one body of true believers, The Church.

Here in Michigan the Spirit of the Lord does remain strong among the faithful. What the Spirit has told a number of people here is this. For a long time people have gone to and fro about there lives as if nothing much would ever change,or change there faith until covid arrived. The Government is now looking to draw the people unto themselves,as if they, and they alone can direct our lives. It has now become personal! FEAR is there god,it has always been this way,and the media is helping the Government in this effort as well.

Instead of helping homeless people in each of our States,the Government would rather have strange people who are not citizens to be welcomed in with open arms,while we the people pay for it?? WHY?? Because new people will be more afraid to be obedient ,and follow orders better. AND!!! will vote to keep the sorrow to others besides themselves. While U.S. Veterans sleep in parking lots in Washington,Strangers sleep in payed for hotels by us! Where is the out cry? This can be found in many Churches,hence why many Governments still hold Churches hostile. TRUTH can be defined as,how one wishes to view THERE truth,not the truth! Its about holding power at any cost!

That at least to me is the truth about what we believers now face. In truth and I hate to say this,but really who cares until whatever is done effects us personal,then we care! Not everyone is like this of course! But you can see where our Country is heading.Its going to be a tough spring and summer for many States.But we as believers remember this!!!! ( Rom 8:31) We as believers now see the need to remain strong in and through our Jesus! The question each must ask themselves is,,,will they? How much does Jesus mean to us now matter what? We are about to find this out in this coming year! May every blessing always find you,and find you most STRONG in both his Word and name and in deeds!!! ( James 1:22)

It has been over a year. In my honest opinion, it does more harm then good keeping people away from each other and really does no good. Remember when it was originally supposed to be a few weeks ? The Bible says this:

'Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near."

We need each other more then just a zoom message. Some churches are just meeting back after a year. This is way too long.

Life is full of risk assessment, we do it every day, often without knowing it. But when something major comes along, reassessment is in most cases human instinct.

We are humans, we are meant to get along together, love one another, have fellowship with one another. It is natural, it is created within us.

But we are also told hard times lay ahead, and that there will be an increase in pestilences. Covid is a pestilence, I see it as an invisible enemy. So surely we need to protect ourselves from the enemy, it is a killer. The big issues, I feel, many face is...I can't see it I don't believe it, in some cases don't want to believe it.

Who in the middle of a war would come out of a bunker knowing the enemy is all around?

God has given us ways to communicated with him, he has also in these days given us ways to communicate with each other, we are blessed. Zoom, YouTube, mobile phones etc.

We are very fortunate, I think, and due to modern way of life and comforts take a lot for granted.

Over the years Christians have been persecuted, in some parts of the world they still are, they do not have the technology for fellowship we do. Should we not count our Blessings and think and pray for those less fortunate than ourselves, rather than thinking of 'me'

It is hard, we all agree, but this pestilence is being brought under control with the jab, we are very fortunate a jab has been developed and so quickly, specialists using the talents given them by God. But there are other deadly pestilences that are still not controlled, Ebola for one, killers with no cure. We can be certain, there will be others and they may not be controllable as Covid!

Scripture tells us clearly, there WILL BE an INCREASE in Pestilences!!!!

This time we are probably more fortunate, for us there is light at the end of the tunnel, thank God it is Jesus. He is with every born again believer, where ever we are. And when two ot three come together, anywhere, by whatever means, he is there in the midst of us.

Other people receive the overflow which comes from our fellowship there. The keeping of days, like 'Good Friday' is a man made institution, and therefore there is no obligation to 'keep it' (Galatians 4:9-11)

It is necessary in the present situation to have rules and regulations governing our behaviour in order to prevent the spread of covid19, and protect the vulnerable. I praise God that there are those who are willing to take these difficult decisions, and I pray that God will give them the wisdom and strength they need to govern well.

Amen sister.

We should continue in prayer for our governments and those making the difficult decisions, they have more details in front of them than we do, they have more pressures than we do. They were elected democratically to serve us.

We are very fortunate there is a jab for this virus/pestilence and so quickly available. Some countries are managing ordering and administrating the jab better than others, but the whole world needs the jab.

We worship in Spirit and Truth, that can be done anywhere. Many think they have to go to a building called a church for fellowship, it is not so. The early Church had no buildings, the church building being called a Church, IS NOT IN SCRIPTURE. The building called a church was introduced by the RCC, hundreds of years later, using the work kuriakon, which is not in scripture.

The Church is not a building, the church is not a denomination, the church is the body of Christ, or again from above souls, washed and regenerated by the Holy Spirit, regardless of age, sex, colour or tounge.

Worship services are permitted in UK provided they follow guidelines - no congregational singing, keep socially distanced, wear face masks etc. It's a fair balance of the right to worship and the need to prevent the spread of infection.

The case in the new item was a church were people were not wearing masks or keeping a safe distance from each other.

On Easter Sunday my church met in person for the first time this year. It was wonderful to be back worshipping with friends I've not seen for a long time. I couldn't hold back the tears.

Our church never shut down. We never stopped singing. Hardly anyone ever wore masks. A few people did.
We had a few supposed cases of Covid, but no one died, and not many (if any) were sick on Easter Sunday.
My personal opinion is that everyone in the church was exposed it it. Even myself... but we're all still here.
