Pope Benedict to Resign

Those who know me, know I am certainly not Roman Catholic.
But I did think it was worthy news when I saw Pope Benedict is stepping down as of Feb 28th.

I continue to pray for the RC church.

Thank God for giving Him the courage to step down when he knows he should and let another take up the cross. I am not Catholic but we are all children of God if so be we confess Jesus as Lord. I heard an Old time evangelist on the DayStar network today , Jim Baker saying that a Pope from the 1170's or somewhere hundred of years ago prophesied and left a list of every Pope that was to come up to this day and that when He stepped down that it would be a sign of the ends of time. Mr Baker has the list. Think I will find his web page and see if it is posted.

I was actually not surprised by this bit of news, I was interested to see why, but not surprised because he admitted way earlier that he didn't even want to be the pope. In my opinion, I think his decision was responsible. I would have done the same if I were in poor physical and mental health.

The papal blasphemy is something that saddens me, to see to many mislead by them is horrifying. Just keep praying for them.

I thought that John Paul II wanted to step down 3 times but was not allowed to. as you are deamed the Pope to the end.
This time that has changed, why ? maybe it's because of how the world looks down on such a harsh way JP II went through to the end and they the RCC do not want to be judged like that in today's little world.

Or we have WW3 on the brink, and he can't in his capacity fully deal with all that due to his failing health.

I think Christianity is lost and doomed to become just a faction as people are turning their backs on the truth in Christ, for the worship of just man, in droves. with all the simple narrow minded people just siting back and just taking in all of that sewer they call the TV and radio that just keeps flowing out, day in day out, brainwashing us with just so much utter trash.
I think we are responsible for our brother. but due to the work of Satan leading people astray we will as a people come down hard. and due to all the PC wombats etc and their socialist Utopia ignorance they will make old mate Hitler look like nothing much at all, due to their destructive sickening evil influences.

I think the next Pope will have to be a genius to hold even the RCC together. as all of the other Christians have failed in today's naive queer morbid world.

Honestly, does it matter who the pope is?
Do you really think he is the head of the church?
Christ is the head of the church, He does not need help.

I have noticed over the years that many christians have changed their views or accepted the teachings of the RCC..............be careful.

I am not trying to be disrespectful but the pope is a man, nothing more.

Let's hope he reigns form the catjholic church altogethert and becomes a tru Christian
