Dear Brother,
Considering that you are really talking OT judgment, and not a Jesus Christ found understanding.
So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." John 8:7 NKJV
This in no way is condoning the behavior, but rather the opposite, for as our Lord told the sinner:
She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." John 8:11 NKJV
Would you eradicate them, or in prayer fill the gap that in Christ Jesus, they may one day yet come to Him, be saved, and cleaned of what is clearly sinful behavior?
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, Hebrews 9:27
Dear Brother, they are not getting away with anything, nor is anyone! The time will come, and for many it will be with trepidation for we know in belief that the following is a truth that must be considered very seriously when sin is involved.
For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:30-32 NKJV
There is a quote from one who was called the Prince of Preachers and I pray will resonate with you.
"If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” ― Charles Spurgeon
Many are lost and do not even know they are, and most do not even care!!! For they do not see it of any import!
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen [are] temporary, but the things which are not seen [are] eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NKJV
Like Moses, and many others, we who seek for the joys that in Christ Jesus we can even now rejoice in as Paul has said, but more so, when it becomes Now!
choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, Hebrews 11:25 NKJV
That is what they do not see/believe/understand so, like our Father in Heaven who wants that no one should perish, which is a mindset that we too should have for the unrepentant sinner.
The Lord is not slack concerning [His] promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV
One day it will be too late. We, however, should not hasten it for those, who truly do not know or in some cases care what awaits them.
Praying for your Grandson brother.
With the Love of Christ Jesus.
