I am reminded of the countless believers who had no option but to pray as the 'cops, courts, law and order' were against them, seeking to eradicate them.
This continues in 2024.

The Jews were waiting for a King who would take up arms against the enemy and lead them victorious to a time of peace. The disciples also took a while to grasp that the Prince if Peace was of another Kingdom than of the world.

While I understand your reasoning, I am reminded of our part and position as members of the Body and that we are strangers and pilgrims, not of the world.

The 'justice' systems of history have never dealt with regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost but have all failed and come short of dealing with injustices.
We have Biblical history as well as world history to witness that the Lord Jesus Christ, Who was delivered up for the sin of the world, has become a propitiation and only through Him can any enter in to the liberty and life He has prepared for them who love Him.

Our part is to preach the Gospel. The world will hate us for it but as with Peter, we are to sheath up our sword and remember that we war not against flesh and blood.

The prophecy is that things are going to get ugly and no amount of death penalty will prevent that.

There has been one death penalty and you know as I do, that it is that penalty that only leads to victory.

In times past, homosexuality carried the death penalty (and still does in some cultures) and that did not eradicate it.

Let us let the world deal with matters as it will and let us be found busy about our Father work for us, be it great or small.


Your grandson is deceived, has believed a lie and is in bondage and imprisoned to wickedness.
How would/did Jesus deal with those oppressed by the devil?
Same for the person your grandson is wrongly involved with.

It is easier to pull the trigger than to give your life for the Gospel and through perseverance, take time and prayer with fasting, to set the captives free.

Some of this would depend on you, and in honesty, if you were old/frail/in a wheelchair/young/weak etc etc, exactly how much could you do if you saw such a thing?
Might end up with one raped woman and one dead hero?

I would take it upon myself to put an end to the rape but both the rapist and the raped would still need the healing that only is available through and with Christ Jesus.
Could I take it upon myself to minister His healing love and loving healing?

I know this is a speculative situation and no amount of our talk will render it anything different.

I also see that the current trend of queer being celebrated and endorsed is very different from random rapists. Two different, very different, manifestations of transgression but also, one is (still) unacceptable and the other 'embraced'.
So who is doing the embracing?

Grace and punishment does not conflict each other.
Grace and mercy is of course priority. But justice and punishment by the law of the land is essential.
We shouldn’t be overjoyed with the death penalty,but at the same time it is necessary in order to protect humanity .

I do not think you believe that, nor do I. For some odd reason you are of the mind by the painting with a wide brush that those who are able to forgive the sins of another, somehow also believe that it also alleviates the consequences of those sins once they turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. Even if the laws of humanity cease to condemn the moral sins, they are not absolved from God's Law or the consequences of them nor the forgiveness of them through Christ Jesus.

You would think that would be the case. Clearly there is a division in the Catholic church as it pertains to blessings. The below is just the tip of the iceberg as it pertains to how it was received by those in the church who are of a stricter or should I say conservative doctrinal standing as it pertains to Catholicism. Yes,I too believe that even a death row inmate has a chance to accept Christ. I think knowing you are going to die soon would help in making up one’s mind. If that doesn’t sway them,what will.

Actually, they do in an odd sort of way. Many immigrants from said countries have a tendency to bring the moral issues that we in the west countries have allowed to be legalized with them to the western countries. Like pedophilia, rape, though being openly homosexual is frowned upon. They are just not published/advertised in the Islamic countries because unless you catch them in the act, who knows? It's more of a cultural behavior that is different as well which would not have the same meaning in the West. Spending time in Egypt years ago, you could see men walking down the streets holding hands and it was acceptable. See that in most Western Countries and what would they be considered as being? Yep, homosexuals. Maybe some of them were, but unless like I said, you're caught in the act who would know?

However, such sin regardless of whether it is permitted, or not by man's law, still happens. God has turned man over to much depravity.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. Romans 1:24-25

Who would have thought even as much as 10 years ago, that we'd have issues with defining what a "woman" or for that matter a "man" is!!! That's not even talking about Trans etc. Seeing such things happen in our time, just confirms to me, that we are nearing the end, and the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus. When He does return, I do not think such things will be acceptable that's for sure!!!
