Pray for friend

I have a friend who is a Christian.
Not many tolerate them for long. They speak the harsh truth, which people get offended by.
This person had a terrible childhood, and I feel compassion. Please pray that they will experience God's love in their heart.
Also a fresh touch from The Lord in their lives.

Dear God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

I join @Psalm59 in praying for the friend who has acknowledged faith in You, and is suffering the intolerance of unbelievers as a result. I pray that the consolation of your presence, and the knowledge of Christ that has been gained, will strengthen and that the joy of having the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord will fill and sustain in the face of any unkindness that may be encountered. May this friend, and all who have made the same stand of faith, be strengthened with might in their inner man, that Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith, that they being rooted and grounded in love, may, with all saints know, the depth, length, breadth and height, and the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fulness of God.

May your love be very much in evidence, that those who treat this person unkindly will be caused to consider their ways, and turn and repent of their unkindness, seek your forgiveness, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, that they too may have the joy of sins forgiven.

Thankyou for praying for my friend noel, I've noticed a slight change already. He's not as prickly. Please continue to pray about a big decision that he has to make. Keeping him in God's will and that The Lord heals him from his terrible past. Thankyou
