This is something in my heart that I wanted to share with you all.
Alot of us forget the importance of prayer and end up putting it off "for a later time". Well, more often than not, that "later time" is often a time of need. When something goes wrong in our life- our marriages start to be problematic, our job isn't giving us joy, our finances are strained, a friendship went sour, our health is in jeopardy- whatever it may be- this seems to be when most Christians pray.
However, we need to learn to build up a "prayer deposit". It's like a savings account- we need to have something in the bank to fall back on. When we pray everyday- whether we have problems or not- God is going to be happier with us. Alot of people pray for their problems and completely forget to say thank you to God for delivering them of the situation!!!
God is not a coke machine. You can't give him a dollar and expect Him to give you whatever you want on your time. We must learn to be patient, have a prayer deposit, and obey.
This may seem elementary to some of you, but I know God has a reason for this message because it's Friday afternoon at 1:30 and I'm at work with a lot to do. But God put it in my heart to write this so hopefully someone will see what He is saying
