prayer needed

My friend John is dying, We do not know how long he has, but he has requested hospice care and is rapidly going down hill. He has been battling liver cancer, a transplant never happened as there were just too many complications.

Please pray that John is kept comfortable as possible, that he is not suffering greatly, that the peace of the Lord is with him and he feels His presence. I am so sad right now, the whole bible study group are praying for him and are just heavy with this right now.

Thank you all so much for all your prayers for John in the past. I ask you to continue to pray for him and his family.

Father I thank you that John knows You and knows that he will be with You for eternity. I pray that You will keep him comfortable in his last days on earth and that he will have the peace that only You can give him. Let him feel Your presence with him at this difficult time in his life and I pray that You will comfort all the family too. I pray that he will not suffer with pain that it will be able to be controlled so he can enjoy the time he has here in Jesus' name amen.

Give John comfort, peace, strength and faith. Surround him with your heavenly hope and cup him in your caring hands. Hold him close and fill him with your love now and evermore.
