Hello All. Its been a very long time since I've been on this site, but I'm glad to be back. I have a prayer request that is about starting a new chapter in my life. Recently, I have sensed God calling me to pursue a career in law enforcement with this vision in mind: to serve, protect and ensure safety is in a person's best interest. The reason I sense God has been nudging me to pursue this is because I have personally sensed I need to pursue it as well as two people in my life confirming for me to pursue it. I have not told them before about it, but one day they said out of the blue that I should pursue being a police officer. However, the task and challenge getting to that point is very hard. I've had friends of mine been rejected from police services more than 20 times. Plus, the application process can be very intimidating as they personally want you to fail so that you won't get in. Heres the other thing, you need to be physically fit. I'm not fat and I'm not skinny, but I'm not in shape either. I learned that you need to complete the POPAT test which is a physical test that you have to complete in 4:45 or the application process is rejected and you need to start over again. There is alot of challenges, but I have hope that God will get me in if I work hard and keep pursuing it. Please pray for me as a discern whether God wants me to pursue this or not. Thank you All!
