I'm very new to this site and mainly because I need a lot of guidance and encouragement at the moment. So when searching through the Internet, I came across this site. With that, I wish to just take a moment to explain my situation.

For years, since I was about 11/12 (and I'm now 27), I've desperately wanted to work with animals. As a child I had a dream of becoming a vet, but due to different circumstances I decided to put the idea aside. I instead went to university, got a degree in Psychology, then worked at a family law firm, for a bank and an NHS call centre. To be frank, I didn't enjoy any of these jobs at all. I then tried to get a qualification in Veterinary Nursing and couldn't secure a training placement; I could get the college placement, just not training in a surgery. Then I began sending out my CV to various surgeries and was contacted by one place in January. They showed interest in me straight away; I was interviewed, then had a work trial and the manager said she was keen to have me. But it later came out that they were looking for someone to only come in casually, despite them leading me to believe it was a full time permanent position.

God has placed working with animals on my heart. And this week has been extremely difficult. I came to a place where I had to offload all that onto the Lord and as Him to take it for me. It's left me feeling weak, but my spirit is much happier. I ask that you keep me in your prayers so God can guide me to my destination. I'm also hoping to meet someone - I'm 27 and still live at home; I feel in a rut of sorts. I had a 7 year relationship break up 4 years ago after lots of unhappiness. I know God is blessing me and I have wonderful things on the horizon at my church, but I just pray God keeps me on track to use me for His glory! Amen.

God bless you all!
