I am asking tonight for prayers for my dear friend. We just got news that her 23 year old son hanged himself and he is thousands of miles away from her.
I am asking for prayers for her and her daughter (21 years) for God to bring peace and quietness and calmness during this difficult time.

Also I further want to ask to pray for my husband as he helped raised him as from about 8 years old. So this young man was a son to my husband.

Lord, It is with great sorrow that we experience situations as this, but we know that you are in control, and that all things work together for good to those who love you. Please comfort those who have great sorrow for this loss, and give them strength as they go forward. Give them assurance and peace with their loved ones during this time, and express to them the strength of being born again even though our flesh is in direct conflict with our new creature in Jesus Christ. May you have the glory in all things, and may your name be proclaimed during this time.

Don't waste your time, talk to the lost, reach out to them and preach with a loud voice the good news. Overcome their depression with the joy and peace in Jesus Christ!
