On an amusing note, I picture a Foster Brooks type skit conducting the service which I appreciate would be unlikely. It reminds me of years ago when the Armed Forces ran ads stating "Today's military wants to join you". Planned Parenthood is what most couples do in the planning stages when deciding on how many children they intend to raise. Thanks to modern surgery, pregnancies can be aborted before growth has gone too far when preventive measures are ignored or ineffective. Contrast that with Scott Peterson convicted of second degree murder for the death of his unborn son.

Personally, I have no issue if they want to make beer and wine for personal consumption, but I do think there is a fine line being crossed regarding their methodology. As for Pro Gay, they are not welcome in many churches, so they have created their own places of worship, a form of segregation as they see it.

Any organization which writes its own rules as it deems appropriate can do what it wants with little or no conscience. I agree with C4E that prayerful intervention may keep them from straying placing them in the position of Matt 7:22.

Not only are those who practice such things worthy of death, but even those who agree that it is OK to do them are also worthy of death.

Reading this breaks my heart,but,I'm certainly not surprised by it.

Be encouraged my friend. Even though it will get worst, in Christ there is always hope. Our hope is that all things will work for the good
of those who love him. So just continue to grow close to God and even the ashes will be used to bring forth beauty for our good and His glory.

There are those who feel they were born homosexual. So maybe they feel that That justifies a separate church for themselves.

Honestly, Why should anyone be aware of another person's sexuality? I, myself, Don't Want to know what goes on 'behind closed doors'.

Believers shouldn't be showing hatefulness to Anyone. But I Also wouldn't encourage that in my kids' lives. Maybe Assuming that two people are simply good friends. And if they want to spend the night -- two separate bedrooms at opposite sides of the house. Or a motel in town.

Someone asked our pastor what he would do if a same-sex couple approached him to marry them. He said he'd tell them the same thing with Every couple -- they will need to go through 6-weeks of counseling before hand. That pretty much ends the conversation. Says his policy is to marry Only born-again believers. And he makes Sure they Are believers.

Sometimes couples go into a church and Act all chummy -- just to find out how people will react towards them. Same-sex or otherwise. He makes a point to befriend them. Get to know them, invite them to lunch.

So -- a pro-gay church. The Holy Spirit uses all kinds of environments to work in people's hearts.

A bit off topic -- but there was --in a church a couple who were at least separated. They sat on opposite sides of the church. At one point, the 'husband' brought his new girlfriend to church with him. Well -- She got convicted and accepted Christ as her Savior. Shortly after that She realized that their relationship was wrong and broke up with him.

There are no "impossible 'situations"' for God to intervene in.

@ #9 -- the life-style , yes. But there's a difference between a temptation TO and actually Doing the act on a regular basis.

And, yes, I'd agree that openly applauding / encouraging that lifestyle Is wrong. It's satan's counterfeit to God's plan.
