Below is an extract from a prophecy that was given to me by the Lord directly after the July 7th 2005 bombings – In the light of the recent attempted attacks in London and the attack at Glasgow airport, I have felt such an urgency in my spirit that the Lord is now saying that in the UK we are now entering a time to be extremely vigilant in the spirit.
Because of the prayers of the saints that have risen from our nation and from intercessors across the world, the Glory of the Lord has already risen and His hand has preserved us from many wicked strategies – our dearest friends, as God TV viewers, we have the opportunity to rise as a family in prayer and see the mighty hand of the Lord overshadow Great Britain in these crucial days.
“… AND THEN THE LORD SAID “MANCHESTER – NEWCASTLE – THEN BIRMINGHAM – LONDON – EDINBURGH – GLASGOW – SOUTHAMPTON – BOURNEMOUTH. AND I HEARD HIM SAY “AIRPORTS” – NOT AIRLINES BUT AIRPORTS – “MALLS - SHOPPING CENTRES” – THAT HE WAS URGING THE SAINTS TO PRAY A HIGHER PROTECTION OVER THESE PLACES AND OVER THESE THINGS – AND I FELT HIM GO BACK ONCE AGAIN TO AROUND MANCHESTER – AGAIN I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY. AND THEN HE STARTED TO SPEAK OF GREAT BRITAIN’S DESTINY...
...All those detained in the fast moving investigation are linked to a plot to detonate the car bombs left in central London early on Friday and an attack on Glasgow airport on Saturday using a fuel-laden Jeep Cherokee.
Britain has seen a marked increase in terrorism-related attacks since the September 11 strikes on the United States and since it joined U.S. forces in invading Iraq in 2003.
However, previous assaults, including an attack on London's transport system in July 2005 which killed 52 people, have tended to involve radicalised, British-born Muslims, not educated attackers from overseas, security experts say.
In rapidly progressing operation, police cordoned off a hospital in Paisley, a town just outside Glasgow, on Monday and carried out several controlled detonations.
The hospital, the Royal Alexandra, is where Abdulla worked, staff said, and where he is also believed to be being treated for severe burns after taking part in the attack on Glasgow airport, when his vehicle was turned into a fireball...
...Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said Britain was facing a "serious and sustained threat of terrorism" and urged the public to remain alert. Addressing parliament on Monday, she praised the security services for their quick work in rounding up suspects but said a threat remained...
Most terrorist attacks have been thwarted in the panning stage since the 2005 bombing in London. This time round they've actually managed to plant the bombs although some failed to detonate and were made safe by the bomb disposal people.
This is certainly not a time for complacency, the security services without the prayer of the Church would be having great difficulties.
As someone once said, “Who is responsible for what happens in the earth? The ones with the spiritual authority – the Church.”
Blessings,
Tony
