Psalms

[Mark of Faith]

Hi Guys,

I used to be a musician in a number of rock/psychedelic bands before I became a Christian. I have found playing music since used to bring back memories and I found it hard to play in a manner that glorified God.
Recently my neice got a guitar and I was so taken with it I bought myself one.
An ambition of mine is to put a good number of the Psalms to music. I have started with Psalm 103.
Have any other musicians here written any songs or put any Scripture to music?

Hi Mark. How are you doing with the psalm 103?
I'm too trying to sing the psalms... there was actually one site where was instructions how to sing them.
And there's also a scripture music site, you should find it with google.

Hi Jari,
Thanks for asking...I've actually slowed down on my guitar playing..your post prompted me to write a bit more..have the first few verses put to music and have some music which I may be able to match to the next few verses.
