I know that Vitamin B-12 can store up in your liver for 5 years but wonder if it can be toxin. My B-12 is not low, in fact it is 550. But I was reading that B-12 would be better if it was higher with a particular illness.

Just wonder if there can be side effects if I take a supplement to rise it.
These prescription drugs has so many side effects that I am hoping to find other ways to help myself without doing more harm.

God Bless, Trish

Where did read Vitamin B12 can store in the liver? I was always taught Vitamin B is a water soluble vitamin & when you exceed your limit it is flushed out of your system in the urine. Same as all the Bs vitamins, C, etc
Vitamins A, K, E & D are fat soluble vitamins. They can store up in your body & can cause many problems even death.
Be sure you are reading sources that are not blinded by sales interests. Many of them are horrible & you basically are hearing sales gimmicks.

Try Webmd, they are great.

B vitamins are enormously helpful and can make a real difference in how you feel. The can also be toxic if you take to much. One sign of toxicity can be the forming of ulcers in your mouth - read the directions and use wisdom.

Hi Trish......Sorry I cannot be of help. I am almost 70 years and I would'nt know a B-12 from a C-6 HaHa in medicine.

However I can show you a G 7 on the piano
