Hello Brother Simon, and welcome to 'talkjesus' and thanks for your question.

Hi,brothers and sisters.I have things to ask about.I realy become a christian last year. Now I find many lies in me,holding me back to disbelief.I can not even make sure that whether I am right about my faith .

There is nothing unusual in such feelings. As you read the scriptures even some of the disciples of Jesus had their doubts. The 'day of Pentecost' changed them (Acts 2) The infilling of the Holy Spirit drove away all doubt and fear.

JUst can't get whole-hearted.Maybe it's because of some so called science and logic, and my environment,my country.

I can tell you dear brother that the so called science and logic of men is such as it is 'of men'. Following Jesus will take you beyond what is of men and the natural, into an 'experience' of kn owing God in the 'supernatural'

Perheps it's the fight with dark power...

Coming to Jesus you have made an enemy. He is called the 'devil', the serpent' the 'roaring lion' seeking whom he may devour.

Hold tight to Jesus in prayer and reading the bible. Seek Jesus, to be filled with the Holy Spirit

Dear Brother Simon.

Lots of love to you...in Jesus.

But I still have a question.Scripture is the word of God but we can see that it hasw different records of even the same affair. So is there mistake in Bible??[/

There are no mistakes in the scriptures. You mention "different records of the same affair"

The 4 gospels were written by 4 different followers of Jesus. They all wrote of the same incident, from their view point. This adds to the rich pattern of the scripture. It is good, that we have numerous witnesses, who were there all present at that time, and are able to inform us from different points of view.

I am aware of the growth of the Christian Faith in your country. I recently read the book. "Back to Jerusalem" I admired the strong faith of those involved in this, who at this moment are taking the Christian Message down the old 'Silk Road' (an ancient trade route) which reaches Jerusalem.
These Christian folks face the religeons that have bound millions for years, are they prepared to die as thet preach the gospel on the road back to Jerusalem.

They are filled with the 'Holy Spirit' a vital experience for all, following Salvation.

Hello, Simon

Peace be unto you

I am sure that most of us had to battle through something when we first started out. Just from my own experience, the battles never stop. I believe that the Lord is continually trying us, to determine what we can and will become. He that endureth unto the end shall be saved.

Keep reading the Bible, Simon, and pray often. When you do these two things, you feed the spirit. Spend more time caring for your spirit than you do your flesh and you should see the difference.

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

James 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Simon: Scripture is the word of God but we can see that it hasw different records of even the same affair. So is there mistake in Bible??
I believe that the different accounts of the same events in the Bible are part of that trying process that I was talking about Simon. There are verses in the Bible that speak of seeking the Lord, correct? Why do we have to seek Him? Why wouldn't He just make Him self readily available? It seems obvious—to me, anyway—that He wants us to make an effort to get to Him. It's up to you, Simon, whether or not you choose to continue searching for Him. I hope that you choose to do so, and if I can help you in anyway, let me know.

The best way I’ve come to describe what people call contradictions is this. An example of what you see in the different Gospels is similar to ten people having to describe what they have seen after seeing the same car accident. When asked what they saw, more times than not, you will find that each of the ten people will describe the accident differently.

The difference in this and the Gospels is that God choose each of these individuals to write this account because it is their perspective that He wanted us to see Jesus from. Each relates the same account, yet different to what God wanted to communicate and to whom. You’ll find that some will prefer the Gospel of John, or Luke, or likewise Mark and Matthew. Each will touch some differently, yet they are truly of one accord in Christ Jesus. To understand how Great our God and unique a Creator He is, all we have to do is look at each other to see it. Yet the one thing that we all have in common is the tie that binds all of us to believe in Christ Jesus which is the spirit of God in each of us. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia! That is why I can easily call you my Brother and know it’s true to the very deepest fiber of my being.

Just remember, like a baby who needs to crawl and is feed on milk, and eventually will walk and eat solid food, so it is with you! Dear brother you have so much to look forward to. Don’t let the dark thoughts of doubt which rage at you and try to have you looking behind you! Look forward my brother. It’s what awaits us that we have to look forward too!!!!!!! Continue to pray and read His Word. You have found a good site where you can ask the questions that trouble you, and where there are brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus who will pray and fellowship with you as you continue to grow as a Child of the Most High. Remember you are never alone!

John 14:26-27 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Praying for you!

Why would he communicate differences to them? Its almost as if the writers just decided to write their own versions they way they wanted too. I cannot see God mis-communicating to anyone. Wow - do you think human influence could be the problem?? They talk about this in my church and I just don't get it either. I don't think God would tell 4 different stories - but the only way around this would be to say they were not inspired by God. That cannot be true. Interesting in hearing responses to this subject.

The post I wrote in which you have questions was directed to those who know Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior versus those who might know Him in only the historical sense. I’m curious have you read the Gospels? Not to compare one with the other, rather, to see what the common thread is between them, and what they mean to you, as a person, an individual? I like to hear what you gather and not what anyone else be they in your church or not have communicated to you as to the significance of the Gospels.

To answer one of your questions, before you get down to what I hope is reading them and seeing that they are meant to provide Good News to all who would hear. God did not tell 4 different stories, but one story utilizing the unique perspective of four different people He picked.

I’ve prayed for you Seeker. What you are looking for is right before you. Here’s a verse from the Old Testament that I provide to all who are seeking as you are. Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

I’m sure there are many Loving, Godly people here at TJ who will help you realize that you really have to look no further.

You may not understand this now, but I pray one day that you do. Love You
