Questions about doubt?

Doubts.

From all eternity it was God's plan to send His son to die for you.

This is the promise of God himself, God does not show favour He forgives all who come to Him. Jesus created you, Jesus knows you, Jesus has forgiven you.

Jesus is not like us, Jesus is Love in its never ending fullness.

Acts 13:37-39.A Christian is not a pardoned criminal; he is a righteous man. God declares him so. He is one who has paid for his sins by another, his substitute, the Lord Jesus Christ. God never pardons apart from Christ.God set forth Christ Jesus "to declare... his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus" Rom. 3:26.See also Romans 8:33."Being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life" Titus 3:7.See also Romans 3:24."Being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him" Rom. 5:9.See also Romans 3:24,25."Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" Rom. 5:1.Faith shall be imputed to us for righteousness "if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification" Rom. 4:24,25.

(Romans 5:9). Don't doubt any longer what Christ did for you, but thank Him that you now belong to Him -- forever.

Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to know,
It is well, it is well, with my soul

Love that poem/song Rizen1, it speaks loads of encouragement to my soul.

1. When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
when sorrows like sea billows roll;
whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
Refrain:
It is well with my soul,
it is well, it is well with my soul.

2. Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
let this blest assurance control,
that Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
and hath shed his own blood for my soul.
(Refrain)

3. My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
(Refrain)

4. And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
the clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
the trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
even so, it is well with my soul.
(Refrain)

Tis the truth of the gospel, Hallelujah!

In (Mat 14:25-31) we see the result of believing(v29) and the result of doubt(v30); then Jesus´response to doubt, saying, "Why did you doubt".
Peter took his attention off of Jesus, and focused on the trouble in the world, which is why he began to sink: This applies to all manner of our life.

People who give their lives to God and never seem to question anything usually make me suspicious of their relationship with God. When you love, it shows in the things that you say and do. Perhaps, you worry because you care what He thinks of you. And I don't see that as a bad thing.

In my experience, it just takes time, like all relationships. Even though a husband will occasionally tell his wife that he loves her, if he doesn't ever seem to want to spend time doing anything with her, talking to her; eventually she will begin to question his love and sincerity, and with good reason too. God is the same way, He expects commitment:

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

You will have doubts—that's why it's called faith. It's not a one-time thing, it's a walk, it's a lifestyle. Keep at it, reading the Word, praying always, and you'll find that your present worries go away. Only to be replaced by other temptations and trials ( of course ) but I don't think that a walk with the Lord can be without it's struggles.

If someone never seems to struggle in anyway with anything, there may be a good reason for it. The devil doesn't tempt those that he has already gotten. He doesn't want them to be too miserable; they may decide that they've had enough and try to do something about it.

Don't give up—He's worth it
