Rapture - End Times

Thanks for posting this Chadi, I had this in my favourites but I had to choose between this and another. God knew you were going to post it.

So Praise Adonia.

That was quite emotional. It's a wake up call for sure.

I have seen from the full reading of Genesis by the
Astronauts on Apollo 8 from the other "tube" broadcast. It's quite moving.

Lately i feel many Christians believe in the rapture theory but what does this consist of. Some say God will take his people then there will be a time of tribulation in which others may come to Christ but if this is true why does the bible say when he comes every eye will see and every knee bow, it also say when he comes he will gather his people there doesnot seem to be two seperate gatherings. please shed some light on this situation i have struggled with it for a while.

Hi brother Aaron ;)

Take a look at this thread: http://www.talkjesus.com/evidence-prophecy-facts/8701-rapture.html#post54162

It was posted last year by a moderator here brother Stephen. I'm quite honest when I say today that brother's Stephen post was the last I read on the rapture.

The whole event and prophecy is something which I'm not completely sure of, since it's an act of God and it hasn't happened yet. Brother Stephen's post did quench my thirst to know more about it though.

These days I look forward to the second coming of Jesus and I live each day on it's own. If God chooses to come and take me, I will be very happy, but I'm not going to argue about things I don't quite have a full understanding of.

God bless

Praise the Lord He is coming soon!!

Praise The Lord for that video we have a responsibilities for our salvation,Lets work out our salvation not by our good works but in a responsibilities of obeying His word.HE is coming very soon as we seen in the video He is like a thief in the nigth.

Hi i had a look at stephens thread in regards to the rapture and i read the passage in thesselonians and i see no mention of us not going through the tribulation.

Due to the media software upgrade done last month on this forum, all previously posted videos turned into links only.

I'll post this again here so others can watch directly here.

you know, Ive put some thought into that one, what happens to the people who are left behind when we are all caught up in the air? Ive heard many different of speculations on the rapture, and the tribulation, what if we are supposed to go through the tribulation with everyone? wouldnt it make sense for someone who knows whats going on to be here to help those who dont know? Jesus talks a lot about trials and tribulation, and that we will have them, but not to fear right? Revelation is a scary book, but fascinating as well, Ive read it many times and very little of what i have read seems to stick with me. I pay close attention to what is said to the churches, and i love how it talks about God on the throne, and the angels praising him, even though all of the weird crazy and scary things are happening. Im not trying to start an argument or anything Im just doing my best to be transparent. My heart is torn there if it came down to my own decision, if God gave me a choice between going to heaven before the rapture, to be with him for all eternity, or to stay and help tell the world about him for seven more years...thats a tough one, but then again its not I dont want anyone to go to the other place, it makes me sad just to think of it.

I was writing a rather long reply to your post, and I wanted to pull a quote from the online Bible we have available here. I found the text, copied, and then when I came back to this screen, all that I had written was gone.

In a nutshell: I believe the church will go through the 3 1/2 year "tribulation of the saints". There are many good forums on this site where I have gone into some detail about what I believe. It seems a popular topic. Don't read Revelation with fear, but with joy. God bless you as you study the living Word of God.
