Reach Out!

I just thought of a great method to reach out to the lost and bring them here to learn, be edified and with the grace of GOD, be saved in Jesus!

Go to Yahoo! Answers. If you already have any Yahoo! account (marketing, email, etc) its universal with all their services. So you can respond to religious questions and use the content from this forum to reach out to the questioner. You may post links there.

Yahoo! Answers is extremely busy, any category so this is a great opportunity to reach out to the lost (or saved but seeking wisdom).

Now consider this a fair warning: there will be some questions that are just childish, stupid and even some blasphemous. Do not pay any mind to such. Just try to answer those that are at least sincere. There are ample questions and I'm telling you they come in like rapid waters so you'll be busy if you volunteer!

Here is an example question that I responded to:

See, this brings them here where this site is rich in content, answers and nicely laid out as well. The members here are friendly and welcoming, so it works out well. This is an example of how you can post. Always provide a link back to Talk Jesus, whichever thread (or forum category) that applies.

I hope you consider volunteering. If you have 5 minutes a day only, you can answer at least 2 questions easily.

You might never know what a tremendous difference you make in that person's life!

Great minds do think alike, I post Tj links on yahoo answers, I get some nasty responds but hey I'm sure people are checking it out.

I love yahoo answers, you get points every time you log in and when you answer questions, extra points if your answer is considered the best answered. Its fun and a great tool.

Patience is greatly needed, not everyone is going to agree with you.
Dont take anything personal a lot of these people are kids posing as adults, and adults posing as kids looking for answers, atheist posing as christians.

But its all about dropping the truth, its up to them to pick it up.
