Even as I write my heart is heavy. I am in my late 20's and accepted Christ from the time I was a child and have served Him faithfully. My main areas of unhappiness is the fact that after all these years I have a hard time dealing with loneliness which for the life of me I do not understand why.

Alot of my friends have married and I am still alone. The relationship I had ended because the man repeatedly made me feel somewhat inadequate and insisted on pre marital sex of which I am totally against.

I read my bible and pray but it seems like God is far away. I guess I need some support with scriptures to help me at this time.

Genesis (2 :18)
And Jehovah God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.

It's bad to be alone; I'm 36 years and alone but from two years now, I've discovered something very interesting; The help meet that God was talking about here can be himself.
Pray, and I'm sure you can find the holy trinity by your side in an unimaginable way.

Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
John 16:32
Let your conversation(i.e.manner of living) be without covetousness(i.e.selfish desires); and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Heb 13:5
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being;
Acts 17:27-28 (KJV)
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Col 3:1-2
