Hello dear friends,

Here is a little note that I recently wrote in my journal. "Father, I tried to control things which were supposed to be in Your hands. Then I pictured You saying "Here take it. When you are finished trying to make it work, I,m here if you need me. Its funny how we (I) try to control situations so things will turn out alright in the end. For me, everything turned into a mess. So now I'm taken my brokeness and placed into the Master Potter's hand. I can't wait to see the finished product.

The following is from the book Having a Mary heart in a Martha world(page 128) written by Joanna Weaver. I pray that it will give you confidence as it did for me.

Do you ever find youself clinging to the pencil, refusing to let God write on the pages of your life? I've discovered tat the Lord is infinitely kind and patient in His dealings with us. He will show us houw to relinquish our rights for His best. If you are struggling in this area, maybe these steps will help you:

1. Ask God to make you willing.Sometimes this is the necessary first step. If you just can't muster up the willingness to surrender control to God, then pray first for a change of attitude.

2. Recognise you have an adversary. The last thing Satan wants is for you to totally surrender your life to God. Pray for wisdom and strength not to listen to his lies.

3. Let go one piece at a time. Sometimes we cling to control because we fear we'll be asked to make drastic changes we're not ready for. But God, in His kindness, takes us at a pace we can handle. If we simple obey what He asks of us at the moment, He'll lead us to the next step when we're ready.

I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him.
Philippians 3:8-9

God bless,
Snowrose

Snowrose,
Thank you for shareing that. I to used to struggle with letting something go , after I ask God to take it and help me. Then I finaly after a long while left all things go. Oh what a blessed feeling to know He is there walking each step with me and guideing me. It's the best feeling in the world , one that is almost to great to say with mere words.

Amen Greyfeather! No matter how many words we have in the English language - there is none that properly praise our Lord. I am so thankful He came into my life and stayed when I got sidetracked. He is so awesome! I did nothing but hurt myself and Him. He so good as well as a wonderful Father. Again I praise His Glorious Name.

Wonderful reminder sister, thank you!
