Remembering What God has Done
This morning, I heard a sermon titled "The Power of Remembering", I was really blessed by it and it really encouraged me to look at situations that seem to be not working or not happening for me; as 'Already Done'. Because if God did it for me then He will do it for me now.
The Preacher spoke of remembering and journaling the good things God has done for us. Remembering these things often will keep us in a constant state of faith, joy and thanksgiving. Therefore when we are confronted with difficult situations we already have the faith to see the victory and the successful outcome.
Every now and again clap your hands, stomp your feet, leap for joy and sing rejoicing for the great things God has done and yet going to do. For when we are weak God is strong.
Take the stress and burdens of pending situations to God and say "God, handle Your business", because in giving God the troubles that get you depressed you obtain victory everytime, for the battle is not yours its is the Lord's. God knows how to handle His business, our steps ordered according to the will and purpose He has for our lives. He knows ALL those things that concern you. There isn't anything that God will bring you to that He hasn't provided the tools to get you through. Therefore rejoice because what you need is within you, so go ahead and take it by force.
