repentance from dead works

[graham]: We must never put the effect of repentance before the cause. The
understanding the believer in Christ Jesus must have is the realization that the cause
bringing about repentance is by the Spirit of the living God alone. That is, the cause of the
conviction of Sin, Righteousness, and judgement, and then followed by the effect of
repentance. Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

It's true we are saved by grace through faith. But many as time goes by they turn to works, insted of total dependece on Jesus.

And we must pray for those people ;)

We are not saved by works, but we work because we are saved. In this 'time' span of eternity we are being prepared for what lies beyound 'time'. Work for the day is fast approching.

THERE IS STILL TIME

In the quietness of the night I lay
Silently contemplating the coming day.
The night is long and the thoughts deep;
Dark whirling thoughts that rob the sleep.
Is there any let up to the news we hear?
Surely, most surely the end must be near.
Wars and rumors of war on every hand;
Death and terror threaten us across the land.
It lies upon us like a blanket of fear;
'Tis then I hear ----
"The end is not yet - There is still time!"

The end is not yet? - How can this be?
What is there yet for us to see?
Peace and safety must be declared on every hand;
It must be the cry from every land.
When this peace and safety has blinded the eye,
'Tis then the hordes of darkness will fly.
Gog and Magog - Satan's own destructive force -
Destroying all that would hinder their course.
This is not yet - but it is near -
And so I hear -
"The end is not yet - There is still time!"

There is still time - time for what I pray?
What more is there to do and say?
Time to give the news of the Savior's abiding love,
The message that comes from the Father above.
Time to cry of the victory that's already won,
Even before the battle is done.
Time to bring more within the Kingdom's gate.
Hurry, hurry before it is too late.
We must move quickly for the time is near,
When we will hear -
"The end is now - There is no more time!"
