Hey. I read all the replies to the thread "Demonic Dreams", and I wanted to apply to that the knowledge which God has sent to my own heart, ofcourse through his son Jesus Christ, our mediator.
First of all, idols can be objects that you say have spirits. Objects do not have spirits living in them. I am speaking truth,, that is what God has put in my heart.
As my preacher has once said,, some people think of the Devil as some big red intity with horns and a spiked tail, and who knows, he's powerful enough to take that form,,,, But the REAL truth and reality is so simple it's not funny. The Devil can be a lie told, a deciet planned, revenge by our own means, hatred, envy, jealousy, it can come in many of these forms which are not the fruits of the Holy Spirit. We either serve God or the Devil,,, we cannot serve two masters,, as it is mentioned in the Bible. Water and oil do not mix. The Devil does not live in inanimate objects which we see, he lives within us if we do not have the HOly Spirit living in us and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And if we do not have that personal relationship the Devil can work within us and it comes out as sin (lies, deceit, whoremonging, adultery, believing a lie, etc.), which all eventually lead to everlasting destruction and misery here on earth. Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree (tree being Us), bringeth forth good fruit,(being stuff like honesty, meekness, longsuffering, temperance, humbleness, etc.), but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit, (being lies, adultery, haughty, etc).
Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
My friends God did not say our walk with him would be easy but he also said in "Matthew 7:13, 14" "13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
St.John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
It may not be the easiest way, but it is most certainly the best! God knows what is best for us. We do not.
If you are looking for answers in the Bible please remember this verse,
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
If you truly are serving God and want to know the truth then he will give you understanding of the King James Version Bible. Changing the word changes the meaning that God has originally intended. I promise you if you seek you will find, if you ask he will give. He has done the same for me. As for these demonic dreams,, you have no need to worry if you are serving God through his son Jesus Christ, and truly want his Will and truth with all your heart.

P.S. Beware of false prophets.... for there are many in the world whom disguise themselves as followers of God when inwardly they are ravenous wolves seeking to destroy many souls with their lies,,,, 2Corinthians 11:13,14
13. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
If you want the truth God will give it to you. Don't twist the bible around to suit your standards, twist yourself around to suit God's standards in the Bible.
