The two political party idea is a design from the Hegelian Dialectic.
The German philosopher Hegel came up with a theory of opposites, since the idea of a positive vs. negative exists in nature. That idea of opposites is applied in political theory this way by the real powers in control: if you can control 'both' sides of an argument, then you can control the outcome.
This is why the U.S. political system is setup to put either a Democrat or a Republican in office, with an Independent rarely getting elected, but mostly used to divvy up the vote so either a Dem. or Rep. can win.
This is why 'both'... parties are working towards a "one world government". While the blind get sucked into the baloney political battles provided by the media, behind the scenes both Democrats and Republicans are meeting on plans to bring the U.S. into a "one world government" (their term, not mine). One of those secret closed door places they both meet to determine U.S. policy is the Council On Foreign Relations, which includes many elected officials, and also a healthy dose of non-elected key persons in every major field.
That is why even many Republicans showed disdain for Donald Trump. If it weren't for the two-party system being so established by the "Establishment", Trump might have run for president as an Independent, but no doubt knew he couldn't win without being supported by the Republican party. His conservative actions as President revealed his policy is more like the Founders. And what many don't know is, that the Democratic party in the days of the U.S. Founders was the 'conservative' party. At some point in history it changed to Leftist ideology.
In ex-FBI agent Cleon Skousen's 1958 book, The Naked Communist, he gave 45 strategic points the Soviet Communists developed for the takeover of the United States. One of those points was about their Communist plan to take over one or more political parties of the U.S. Those 45 strategic points were entered into the U.S. Congressional Record in 1963. Every true citizen of the U.S. that recognizes the Constitution of The United States of America and what the U.S. Founders established should read Skousen's book.
